Environment: The hotel environment is beautiful, perfect for taking photos and checking in. It's close to the sea, offering an unobstructed view of the blue sky and white clouds 🌊. Service: I'd like to give a big shout-out to our butler, Rainbow. She proactively contacted us to understand our needs. When she learned that the elderly in our group couldn't sleep on a soft mattress, she immediately arranged for a firm bed board. We also encountered an issue with our travel photography booking, and she was able to assist us in resolving it. Her service truly deserves a special mention! [ThumbsUp] Facilities: The hotel facilities are also extensive, with both indoor and outdoor pools, and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Highly recommended for a vacation getaway [Happy face].

The Hilton Golden Bay offers an excellent resort experience. Our room's balcony had direct ocean views, and the beach was right outside. They even included a complimentary photoshoot service with our stay. The pools were great, the service was attentive, and the environment was peaceful. It's definitely the top choice for a seaside getaway in Shanwei.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The front desk staff and restaurant team were incredibly attentive and welcoming, resolving any issues we had with ease. Seeing we had kids, they even gave us extra freshly baked cookies, which the little ones absolutely loved. The location is perfect, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. The hotel itself boasts an infinity pool and a kids' pool, and the facilities are excellent. A truly great experience.

The environment is quite good, and the service was relatively nice – they even gave us a free upgrade to a sea-view room. My main complaint is about the infinity pool. It was heavily advertised everywhere, but after checking in, we found out it's closed on weekdays and only open on weekends. I was very disappointed and speechless. The indoor pool's water was cloudy and dirty; I lost all desire to swim after just a short while. Had I known the infinity pool wouldn't be open, I would never have booked this hotel. My entire reason for choosing this place was the infinity pool. This is my first and last stay at Hilton Shanwei.

The staff were incredibly warm and the service was excellent. The hotel is right on the beach, boasting a long and beautiful coastline – absolutely stunning! Our room was clean and tidy. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement: firstly, the disposable slippers in the room could be of better quality; the current ones are too thin. Secondly, the breakfast ingredients could be upgraded. For example, the beef meatballs at the live breakfast station were of very poor quality. Even though Shanwei is at the 'tail' end of the Chaoshan region, it's still part of it, and the quality of those meatballs was quite disappointing.

The hotel environment is great, and the service is very attentive. Plus, it's right on the beach. The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photoshoot, and the photographer was so patient with the kids, taking great pictures and keeping them entertained. Even though the weather wasn't the best during our stay, our baby still had a wonderful time. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Shanwei!

Absolutely terrible. This stay was an utterly horrendous experience, completely unworthy of a five-star hotel. It was a nightmare from start to finish, and I absolutely have to give it a public bad review! We were staying at the hotel next door that night when we discovered a massive termite infestation. We immediately and urgently switched to the Hilton Shanwei Poly. We expected a high-end brand like Hilton to guarantee basic hygiene, but as soon as we entered the room, we found dozens of termites crawling everywhere. It was a truly horrifying sight. We immediately contacted the front desk to report the issue. To our surprise, the hotel's first reaction wasn't to apologize or arrange pest control. Instead, they completely shifted the blame, saying that termites are common in Shanwei during this season and it's 'normal.' There were no immediate remedial actions, no professional pest control arranged, and they completely attributed the hygiene problem to the weather and season, with a very perfunctory attitude. Later, the hotel simply moved us to a different room, verbally reassuring us repeatedly that it had been inspected and was definitely termite-free, telling us to rest assured. It was late at night, and we were physically and mentally exhausted, so we didn't inspect it carefully and went to sleep. The next morning, we woke up to find our entire family bitten by termites, with red, swollen, and itchy allergic reactions on our skin. We felt very unwell. Even after all this, we remained restrained, not wanting to cause trouble for the hotel and not asking for any compensation or unreasonable demands. We just hoped the hotel would address the hygiene issues seriously. However, the next day at breakfast, halfway through our meal, I simply got up to grab a slice of toast. Within a mere few tens of seconds, I returned to find that all the unfinished food on our table had been cleared away by the staff without permission, completely disregarding the fact that guests were still dining. This was extremely disrespectful. We proactively communicated all these issues with the hotel through the Trip.com platform, hoping for a reasonable explanation and a sincere apology. To our dismay, the hotel maintained a strong, unyielding attitude throughout, refusing to admit fault, shirking responsibility, and showing no sincerity whatsoever in resolving the problem. Paying for a five-star hotel, we got a room full of termites, allergic reactions from insect bites, our breakfast arbitrarily cleared, and arrogant communication with blame-shifting. This has completely shattered our trust in the Hilton brand. I sincerely advise everyone to choose carefully and avoid this trap!

We took advantage of the off-peak season to travel with my family, and our first stop was Shanwei. This Hilton hotel has a lovely resort-style Southeast Asian vibe, with excellent greenery and a spacious lobby. The location is quite convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and you can walk right out to the beach, which is great for kids. The hygiene was top-notch, and the bathroom amenities were good. The breakfast offered great value for money, with a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, the staff were professional and polite. Highly recommended! 👍

Title: 'Next time I travel, I'll check the almanac!' We drove into the hotel around 11 or 12 PM. It was completely silent. The concierge had already gone home, and there was no one at the entrance to greet us. After finding a parking spot, I dragged my luggage to the front desk, only to find one staff member on duty for the entire hotel. I'd give his service a 4.5 out of 5. After checking in and going to our new room, I thought we could finally unpack and rest. However, the moment I walked into the bedroom, I was in disbelief. How could a hotel provide a room where all the bedding was scattered and piled on the sofa to a guest? Did they not bother to clean it up in time, or were they just rushing to leave? At this point, I wasn't angry or accusatory. I just picked up my things and, after some twists and turns, went back to the front desk. I politely showed them the photos and requested a room where "housekeeping had completed their service." The staff member then contacted his colleague, and the duty manager moved us to a different floor. After checking into the new room, I thanked him. Even though my husband mentioned there was some sand on the floor, we understood, being close to the beach. We really needed to rest that night, so we decided to make do. And even with that "making do," I didn't complain to Trip.com or choose to switch hotels in the middle of the night. What I saw next was an even more absurd "hotel room cleaning standard." There were multiple unidentified hairs in the bathroom sink. The ones on the left side were noticed quickly due to their position. The feedback from the complaint manager was a complimentary breakfast. However, being up until 2 AM, we didn't need breakfast that ended at 10:30 AM. He then offered a late check-out to ensure we got enough sleep. We accepted the hotel's apology, and he confirmed the dirty spots before leaving the room. Later, inside the other sink, we found the same unidentified hairs and fine lint, including in the bathroom, glass partition, and bathtub. We didn't dare to touch anything because we weren't sure how many places housekeeping had wiped with a single towel, how many times, or if they had used disinfectant and cleaning products, which could explain the condition we found. All in all, after waking up, we didn't experience their afternoon tea, nor did we stay until the extended check-out time. We left in a hurry before 2 PM. We didn't touch the hotel's towels or any of the facilities. We used the kettle to boil water to scald the sink. It was truly a terrible trip.
