Vienna Hotel (Shanwei Honghaiwan)

The hotel is fine; it's a well-established brand that gives you peace of mind. With so many branches nationwide, their service and hygiene are undoubtedly top-notch. However, I'd like to take this opportunity to complain about some restaurants in Shanwei. On my first day, I specifically chose several restaurants, including a larger one called Yujia Xian. I won't go into the details of the other dishes, but one dish, a small fish, cost 98 yuan and I asked them to pan-fry it. They steamed it instead, and no one would have complained if they had just served it to us. But when they realized their mistake, they took it back to the kitchen and pan-fried it again before serving it to us. When we confronted them, they insisted that's how they make it. Who pan-fries fish so burnt, with scallions charred? This restaurant was unacceptable. A 98 yuan serving of four small fish—they took it upon themselves to re-fry it, even if they replaced a few. Would they lose money? Or at least serve steamed fish! They have no manners whatsoever. The bill for two people was over 500 yuan. When I asked for an invoice, they asked me to add them on WeChat and send them the amount, but they still haven't accepted. The government is promoting tourism and creating employment opportunities for locals; don't let unscrupulous businesses hold them back.

Everything is fine, but unfortunately the equipment is outdated; there's no refrigerator, and the TV can't connect to the internet.

The location is so-so, the equipment is old, and the air conditioner is very loud when it blows air, making it impossible to sleep all night.

It was a rare find to have three beds. The room was clean and tidy overall, and it had everything a typical hotel should have, nothing particularly extra. However, there were bed fleas on the bed, and I was bitten nearly ten times. I had to give it a bad review.

The hotel staff were very polite, and I was surprised that they were able to book my room even before noon. They deserve praise! The hotel rooms were all clean and tidy, and I was very satisfied!

The hotel we stopped at on the way back to Xiamen was more reliable than a B&B. However, the soundproofing of the rooms was not good, and the front desk check-in was very efficient. There are restaurants nearby, and it is very close to the Sea Castle and Zhelang Tourist Area.

The room is average, a bit old. There is an electric car rental downstairs in the hotel. There is also a small supermarket inside. There are beef balls for breakfast. It is very close to the Windmill Island Marine Highway. It is comfortable to ride an electric car and enjoy the wind.
