Holiday Inn Hotels in Shaoguan

I've stayed in Shaoguan several times, and this is by far the best hotel. Firstly, the location is great, close to the Mall City. Secondly, the hotel is new, and all the facilities are excellent. There are a couple of downsides though: first, people who aren't hotel guests can also use the pool, making the crowd a bit mixed. Second, the charging stations in the parking lot and on the ground floor are just for show; I had to drive to Sinopec to charge my car. I hope they can improve this.

Driving back to Guangzhou from Zhuzhou, we decided to rest for a night in Shaoguan. This Holiday Inn is conveniently located just 3 kilometers off the highway. It's a relatively new hotel. When checking in, the two young ladies at the front desk, Sophia and Lucy, were incredibly friendly and charming, always smiling. They even helped us with a room upgrade and gave us a small gift, really understanding what guests need. Our room was spotless and tidy, the bed was super comfortable, and it was very quiet outside the window, so we had a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning didn't have a huge variety, but there was still enough to find what you liked. For just over 300 a night, the value for money is pretty good. After breakfast, we drove to Nanhua Temple, which only took about 17 minutes.
