It was my first time to Shaoxing and I stayed at this hotel. I felt very friendly as soon as I entered the store. The service provided by the lady at the front desk was really thoughtful and her voice was very sweet. The hotel is an old hotel but the room is very fresh. The air conditioner in the room is Gree and it is new and powerful. The bedding and wallpaper are also new and very comfortable to lie on the bed. The pattern of the wallpaper is also pleasing to the eye. There are several supermarkets and various snacks around. It is also close to the bus station and it is very convenient to travel. It's not that I can't afford to stay in a five-star hotel, but Chuang Ejia Huimei Hotel is more cost-effective. I will choose to stay in this hotel next time I come to Shaoxing.

I came back to live again after attending the graduation ceremony. The room was as clean and tidy as ever. The sister at the front desk was warm and welcoming. The price of the room did not rise. 先説缺點：1.老舊，牆壁啥的有些發黴。2.漏水和其他問題，我住的房間就是衞生間樓上漏水，睡覺的床頭頂上也有一直類似電視劇啪的黑屏那種電流聲，半夜會嚇醒。3.隔音不太好（半夜三點被走廊一個小哥説話吵醒了（當然這個就是路人問題了不關商家的事情
再説優點：1.安全，因為老闆家就在前台那邊。2.服務好，我因為牙齒髮炎需要鹽水漱口，就要了點鹽。3.旁邊吃的多，而且好吃嘿嘿嘿。
不過我住的房間不大行可能也是因為當時考試大家都住滿啦，其他時候去不一定換不了別的好一點的房間，評論僅供參考

GGuest UserThis homestay is really beyond expectations, the location is invincible, next to the Xuyi Art Museum, very close to Lu Xun's hometown and other attractions. The boss was very nice. He upgraded the room for us during the Spring Festival to make my parents live very comfortable. The room layout is one step at a time, and Xu Xun's paintings are very elegant. The homestay was built on the Taimen building. It has local characteristics, rich breakfast, different daily dishes, and the taste is very good. The sisters who received were attentive and smiling. Thank them for their warm hospitality. They will continue to punch in Shaoxing in the future. Five-star recommendation! ! !

PPatPat2The hotel is nicely located, close to the pedestrian street and all other attractions. Very good breakfast for both Chinese and Westerners. As we have been here for the Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel organized also preparation of the rice dumplings. Every room was also equipped with a Nespresso coffe machine. They gave us a nice welcome fruit tray on first day and another gift when we left. The staff has been very kind and helpful also with our luggage.

The parking was very convenient, the pillows were very comfortable, the room was noise-free, and the disposable toiletries were very useful. The warm breakfast provided at check-out was very good, and it is worth recommending ~
Ps There is a beautiful lake downstairs of the hotel. I went there for a walk on the last day of my trip and it was super comfortable!

GGuest UserThe Oriental Grand hotel is part of a complex which includes 3 theme parks. One indoor mountain park, one indoor water park, and one large outdoor theme park. The parks were fun for our toddler. Call in advance to see which parts of the park are open/closed for the season. The hotel and facilities are designed for kids, so expect lots of them to be around! We stayed for 3 nights during the October Golden Week but the hotel was not overly busy, nor was the theme park.
The breakfast was solid with mostly Chinese options but Western options as well. We enjoyed both the breakfast and the buffet dinner. Other food options in the area are quite limited, and the food in the parks is pretty poor.
We were a 20-40 minute taxi ride away from other major attractions in the city, like Daxianglin and the giant buddha, as well as some of the ancient towns.
The rooms were clean and new, and we had an excellent view of the nightly fireworks show from the main theme park, even from the bathtub! The rooms were quiet at night and the blackout curtains allowed everyone to sleep in. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Overall I would recommned this hotel to people seeking quiet and comfort during a theme-park trip.

GGuest UserGot there around CNY eve, so things were a bit on the quiet side. Parking was a bit chaotic at first with cars parked all along the entrance, it was not clear where to park until I went inside and asked. Check in was quick and to my pleasent surprise the checkin agent Gary spoke English very well. He was extemely helpful and and accomodating. He even explained that breakfast would be included because of CNY. The hotel was very clean, room was clean. The hotel is at a very good location, central to many important areas in Shaoxing. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Check out was simple and the overnight parking fee was taken care by the hotel. Overall, the hotel has the quality, look and feel that you would expect from a Holiday Inn brand hotel. Would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future. Many families with kids too. Please note if traveling around CNY, certain restaurants etc may be closed for the holiday.

Service: The service must be praised with five stars! The girl at the front desk was really nice. When we checked in, she asked us if we wanted free ice cream, and gave us one each. Tea and coffee were all free. To be honest, it was not free, but bad things were given. Coffee was freshly ground from coffee beans, ice cream was bright, and tea included chrysanthemum tea and Tremella soup. I didn't dare to ask for such a low room rate, but they did it
Breakfast: I took a photo specially, 10 yuan per person, it was really rich, and everything was clean and fresh, with freshly cooked wonton noodles
When we left the hotel, we were given a cup of Tremella soup each, as well as souvenirs. I haven't commented on the hotel much, but I really want to give it a five-star praise!

CCherry WeddelI thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the hotel's family room. The spaciousness of the room provided ample space for my family and me to relax comfortably. The firsthand experience was truly delightful, allowing us to create memorable moments together.
While the room boasted a pleasing view, it's worth noting that the positioning of the two beds felt a bit distant, which could be improved for a more cohesive family experience. The sliding bathroom door posed a minor inconvenience as it wasn't the easiest to navigate, and I found myself struggling with it at times. Another minor drawback was the absence of shelves or storage options within the shower area, making it a bit challenging to keep our toiletries organized.
Despite these minor shortcomings, our overall experience in the family room was positive. The spaciousness and engaging atmosphere certainly outweighed the small inconveniences we encountered. We left with fond memories of our time there and would consider returning in the future.

GGabor87The hotel staff didn't speak any English at all, but they were quite helpful. The room itself wasn't cleaned and there was clearly visible dirt on the carpet, we also got used, dirty and smelly hotel slippers - I asked the staff by using translator to replace it and clean our room because it wasn't cleaned, the promised to do this. They changed our slippers to new ones but the carpet wasn't vacuumed properly again. Apart from that it was fine. Breakfast was nice, rooms are spacious. The check-in and check-out procedure is time consuming because the staff doesn't know English and their procedures are aged - they copied my whole passport with all the previous trips to China and produced a lot of paper in the process for no reason. The check-out was done and we were asked to wait (to check if we used mini bar or something), but no one told us afterwards we can go so we waited for 5 minutes for no reason, I finally asked if we can go and only then the receptionist said yes xD
