Atour Hotel Joy City, Lu Xun Hometown, Shaoxing Reviews

A city I have wanted to visit for a long time. I took advantage of the off-peak travel period during the May Day holiday. Among the many hotels in the central city, I finally locked in Joy City Hotel one day before departure based on my trust in the Atour brand. It turned out to be the right choice. I checked in early and was warmly received by the front desk staff. There is a rest and reading area next to the front desk, which is quite large. There is also a gym and laundry room on the first floor. During my stay, I was politely greeted by the front desk staff when I entered and exited the hotel, and all my reasonable requests were met. The hotel has convenient transportation, with multiple buses at the door. You can take bus No. 1️⃣ from the railway station and get off at the Supply and Marketing Building Station. On the second day of my arrival in Shaoxing, I went to Anchang Ancient Town for a green trip. I took bus No. 5 to Zhijiang College and changed to bus No. 116 to Anhua Road and Huanzhen South Road. There is a store of the famous Tongxinlou in front of the hotel where you can buy fresh food. Meat buns and various pastries. You can also walk to the Tongxinlou main store not far away to queue up to buy the famous shengjian, which is sold at 1.3 yuan per piece. The surrounding attractions are within walking distance to the Qiu Jin Memorial, Dashan Tower, Cangqiao Street, Xixiaolu Historical District (Yangming's hometown), Cai Yuanpei's former residence and the hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy, Shaoxing Museum, and Lu Xun's former residence. A little further away, you can go to Bazi Bridge. For meals, you can go to the opposite Joy City, where there are many choices. The hotel provides self-service Chinese and Western breakfasts as well as noodle stalls, and the variety is rich. There is free drinking water at the elevator entrance for guests to take. The room cleaning will also be called in advance. When checking out, they will politely ask if you want to bring a bottle of water. They are polite and thoughtful everywhere, and the service can be seen in the details. This adds an important touch to this trip to Shaoxing. If friends or family come here, I will strongly recommend this store. I hope Atour will get better and better

I forgot to take pictures but it is consistent with the pictures. Atour has always been stable, clean and comfortable, and the pillows are very comfortable. This hotel is very close to Cangqiao Street, and it takes only a few minutes to get to several scenic spots in the city by electric car, which is quite convenient. We were upgraded to the eighth floor, and the room was very quiet. The front desk guy and girl were very nice. There is a public space, a library, a gym, and a breakfast restaurant on the first floor. I like Atour very much, and I won't step on thunder. I can have a good rest after a day. This restaurant is delicious and worth trying after coming out of Xu Wei Art Museum.

At first, the navigation was wrong. We went to Atour outside the moat in the south of the city. We couldn't register. Then they said we might be in Joy City. Then we went three kilometers north to here. It was because of my carelessness in navigation. I hope everyone will look more carefully when navigating and don't make mistakes. Before I came, I was worried that there were few parking spaces. I had to park in a nearby parking lot, which was not very convenient. After I arrived, there was a parking space, so I parked downstairs. I felt that there were about 20 parking spaces downstairs. It was okay for people to come and go. The location of the hotel is so good. Behind it is Cangqiao Zhijie. I went to eat Kong Yiji on the first day I arrived, and ate Xunbaoji on the second night. It was very close and convenient. I rode shared bicycles to other attractions, and the distance was not far. There is nothing to say about the rooms of Atour Hotel, and the service is also OK. Very satisfied.
