Looks like I wrote a good review about the hotel early. Last year I was assured that the last gate to the beach is closed because Novotel guests walk through it. But what I saw today was that three Arab men without bracelets climbed through this gate, and the guard just sat there, not paying attention to my words. But after these men approached him and shook his hands, everything became clear - this is a public beach, security is a convention, and we are just paying money for peace of mind. All day long, sellers of excursions and beads walk along the beach, literally sitting down on sunbeds with guests, but no one cares - everyone greets each other and closes their eyes. Today, again, one came close and was very surprised when I told him that I would call the security guard - indeed, we don’t know where the excursion booths are located, and we arrive at the hotel only thinking about how to give money to someone. For information, the ruble is less than the Egyptian pound.

The hotel is wonderful - in terms of location, well-planned green area, large spacious beach, people working here. Spacious rooms located in bungalows with pleasant terraces. Beautiful warm sea with a beautiful coral reef and its inhabitants. That is why this rating is 4 points out of 5. But this is the legacy of the Hilton chain and nature. Otherwise, there are the following points: - in the morning there are packages floating in the sea that were not removed in time during the previous day (cleaning is only done in the evening - packages and glasses thrown in the morning and afternoon manage to end up in the sea by this time); - on the beach, despite my request to the reception, strangers walk around, approaching you closely when you are lying on sunbeds with your family. Today 4 different men came up, not in hotel uniform, and they did not understand the word “no” from me and mom - they approached dad again; - beautiful corals are slowly dying due to the oil film covering them, formed by exhaust gases and oil from boats. This film is eaten by fish. In the evening there is a strong smell of exhaust fumes; - in terms of food - in the first days everything was fine, but yesterday the parents took a salad (they said it tasted sour), there was also a strange fish fillet that the guests constantly smelled (stagnant smell). Unfortunately, after eating salad and fish, my parents got an upset stomach and have been suffering all day today. (I didn’t eat salad or fish, everything was fine. Apparently, the problem with salads is a problem in all hotels; it’s rare to find fresh salads even in 5* hotels). Today there wasn't even meat for lunch; the fries were fried in a strange thick oil; - at lunch and dinner they close the coffee machine and water boiler, don’t put out packaged juices - you need to go to the bar for everything, and given that many people go with their families, more than once. It's not that difficult for me, but the hotel has older guests, guests with physical problems. Against the background of moments with the beach and food, such self-service is becoming more visual.
