I book this hotel for my boss. It is non refundable but I tried to modify the booking anyway. Because my boss changed his plan right after I booked the hotel. I book for 3 nights, but my boss stayed for 2 nights. Trip officer has tried all possible ways to contact the hotel (emails and calls), but this hotel is so difficult to contact. Almost impossible. When my boss was on the spot in the reception, the hotel reception said the modify is accepted and we only have to pay for 2 nights. But I was charged for 3 nights anyway.

The hotel environment is very good. The hardware facilities are relatively new among the hotels in Sharm. The service is also good and enthusiastic. What's more, the food is more suitable for Chinese stomachs. The only drawback is that the waves on this beach are relatively strong, so it is not very suitable for snorkeling.

We were at the hotel on November 1-5, 2023 as a family of four. I really liked everything, the territory, the service, the cleaning (thanks to Ahmed), the food at the hotel. The animation for children is good, the animators are trying, especially Yana, it is clear that almost everything rests on it. The animation from the local guys is a little annoying - it’s a bit rude, inappropriate jokes, The area is clean, green, there are no mosquitoes or any kind of living creatures. The beach is sandy, like new in the morning, apparently everything is put in order early in the morning. The sea is shallow, which is convenient for children. There is no reef as such, we went for snorkeling to the private beach for 3 dollars per person, a 10-minute walk towards the Baron Hotel, the beach is located behind it. There’s a reef there, it’s just super, and you can go diving for 30 dollars 15 minutes. The food is good, varied, the chefs are great. Crabs, seafood, tuna, mango, lamb, everything was very tasty. I especially liked the pastry chef - fruit baskets with mangoes are just heavenly pleasure 😌 I didn’t like the local alcohol and all kinds of sprites (they taste like bleach), and there were no cocktails made from them. And the glasses are reusable plastic, shaped like glass. Only in the lobby bar are there glass glasses and cups. Reusable plastic after so many people is somehow not very good, apparently because of this and chlorine drinks, the eldest son got an upset stomach. Paid minibar in the room, which was surprising. Check-out was late, the room was vacated by 12:00 and we used all the hotel services until late in the evening. It was not possible to extend the room because the hotel was at a standstill and the rooms were fully occupied. The only downside of the hotel is the plastic reusable cups for drinks!

Just returned home from a lovely relaxing week at Iberotel Palace. The staff really do make this place amazing, especially Mohammed Ali at the pool bar who keeps you well hydrated and was always so kind and friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the housekeeping staff are amazing, I unfortunately I can’t remember his name but the gentleman looking after 3202 was lovely. As with the other reviews, book your snorkelling/diving trip with Sima from the diving centre on the beach front. Only 15 people on our trip and it was amazing, would really recommend doing it. The only things I would say could improve is the 2 buffet restaurants don’t really feel set up/big enough for all inclusive and could have more food choice. What we did have was lovely. Also more sun loungers around the bottom pool are needed and the staff actually taking away towels/items when people haven’t used them for an hour (as stated in their hotel guide) they were reserved from 7am onwards but then often not used until late in the day, however plenty of sun loungers on the beach. Would return for another relaxing break.

I'm so glad that I've chosen Solymar for my first visit of Sharm. The territory of the hotel is small, very beautiful and gives cozy feeling. I booked it for two days, but then decided to stay till the end of my holiday. The food was great, big thanks to all people who work in the kitchen and in the restaurant. The stuff of the hotel is very friendly and nice, especially Maher and Allah. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
