I was very pleasantly surprised by the attitude of the manager, Sergiu. A top-notch person. He was always prompt and helpful, with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. This man made our vacation wonderful. Every hotel manager should be like this!

I would have given this place a 2 star if it wasn’t for the manager who couldn’t make any accommodations after other guests (children and adults) received multiple complaints. No sleep, fake warnings. Would not compensate due to the fact that “this happens all the time” and that “we were the only ones complaining”. In reality, the front desk received multiple complaints from other people. A child was slapped across the face. One room was only children who decided it would be funny to bang on our door (repeatedly) to make my dog bark which they thought was funny. If you are trying to get rest after a long drive or roadtripping, I’d advise going to another hotel. The manager doesn’t take you seriously even though they were gonna call the cops if they made one more sound. Well that wasn’t true either. This was happening right in front of our door

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The rooms are the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in (and I have stayed in lots of hotels). Everyone on the staff is super friendly and helpful! Evening Social is so much fun and always ends my day with a smile.

We were disappointed with Homewood Suites this time around. I noticed a pumped in fragrance as we got off the elevator. I never noticed that before. To me, that’s indicative of attempting to hide unpleasant odors. We had a 2 Queen suite. Separate bedroom. I thought the room had a faint smell of urine to it. They do allow pets in this hotel. The furniture looked a bit old and stained. Same in the 1 bedroom King suite we had. All the beds had some odd linens. The sheets and covers did not seem adequate or wide enough for the beds. My sons’ beds were a tangled mess by the time they got up in the morning. My husband I weren’t comfortable in the king bed and it’s crazy covers. Also in the king bedroom, the A/C/heating unit was blowing right on the bed. They are only inches apart. We shut it off because it was so annoying. The ceiling fan helped for air circulation. We did not sleep well, unfortunately. Breakfast was ok.

We had a death in the family and had to journey to Ohio. We were not pleased with another property in the area and relocated to this one. Levi at the front desk was stellar. He checked us in, listened to us, and kindly advised- HE OWNED THE CHECK-IN EXPERIENCE! As a Brand Ambassador and Hospitality Leader myself, I definitely recognized talent and thought I was back at home (down south). Thank you, Levi! Will be back- BECAUSE OF YOU!

Where do I begin? There was an annoying shower that wouldn’t stop dripping, a chip on the toilet seat, rust on the bathroom counter, and a blood spot on the pillow. Gross! The air fresheners throughout the building and room were overpowering. Air fresheners are so toxic and should be illegal. How can the Hilton not know how offensive they are! The smell alone!!! Again, GROSS!

I wish I could give zero stars. The room smelled terrible when we got in there, but we dealt with it because we had a wedding to get to. When we got back around midnight I couldn’t take the smell anymore and took the filters out of both PTAC units and there were very thick layers of dust/dirt on them (see pics). I tried to clean them in the tub, but our tub took 4 hours or more to drain even after a quick shower (again, see pics…that was the next morning). There was blood on my pillowcase. There was a bunch of food under the couch and it is clear that they don’t move anything to vacuum because there were piles of dust around the floor lamps. Dirty dishes were in the dishwasher. There was something all over the headboard and I’m praying it was just food . We had to sanitize it before we even slept in the bed. The hallways smelled so bad and the carpet looked like it’s never been cleaned and it was heavily stained. There was a pube hair in my towel that I found after I had already dried my face with it . The layer of dust on the fan over the bed was so thick we couldn’t even use the fan. When we tried to check out I had to wait a good 10 min before anyone noticed me and they had to go in the back to get someone to check me out. I’m ok to never return to this location. Are you paying these people for positive reviews? I’m truly curious.

I wanted to like this hotel. It's spacious, well designed, well appointed, with a nice staff, a decent breakfast, and not unreasonably priced. However, it really needs an update in the common spaces. The hallway carpets are seriously stained. That immediately sends a negative message. The room was quite the opposite, but we couldn't help but think that if the hallway carpet was trashed, what might be on the carpet in the room? Also, one of the two elevators as out of order, as was the ice machine on the second floor, and there were two bags of trash on the small trash bin next to the ice machine. This could be a really nice hotel. I'm not sure who's responsible for not updating the place. I'm sure that it used to deserve a 5-star (circle) review. I'm giving it 3.
