Good hotel. Nice, clean, and central. The bed had a plastic bit jutting out. That scratched and almost cut my leg. That's still apparent, red and tender after 4 days. Called reception. Very helpful apologetic lady came. Brought dressing for wound. Offered to charge rooms. Brought fruit. Brought engineer. They sorted the issue. Then for personal reasons, I needed to leave earlier than 5 days. The hotel refused to refund 3 days. After trip. Com intervention, offered 2 days refund. My stay was 2 nights. So, a mixed feeling review.

The location is very good, very close to Shenyang Station, 4-6 minutes walk from the station and pass the traffic lights. The customer service is friendly and polite, and the room card was processed quickly. The elevator took you to the guest room. The room was clean and spacious, with a table and chair facilities. The TV can be watched, the bathroom is fully equipped, there is a full-length mirror and a coat rack at the door, and there is a public laundry room. There are several small restaurants and small supermarkets near the hotel, which is very convenient. However, it has been open for a while and the equipment is a bit old, the sound insulation is average, the room I stayed in has a smell of medicine oil, and the bathroom shower position has only one side of the glass, which cannot completely block water. I hope it can be improved. Overall, this price is good.

Very convenient with direct access subway from airport. Eateries are limited around the hotel. Walk 200m toward the TV tower & u may find some. I stayed in a midsize suite for a night & on my return 2 nights, they upgraded to the biggest suite. The mid sized suite face the TV tower which the largest suite they give me face a construction site which run 24hrs. Light sleeper do take note. Mattress is softer & more comfortable in the big suite. Toilet bowl for the midsize suite are in a separated room away from bathroom. Breakfast not worth mentioning but the staff are polite. I would rate this as a good basic business hotel. Not the luxurious type u are looking for. Very good price tho.. The main downside for me would be the renovation smells that linger strongly in part of corridor & room. There is a pungent plastic burning smell that bothers me. Secondly, the aircon blower was shut in winter period. I susposed to save cost. Only a small air vent above the window. The air is still & stuffy in the room. I had to left the main door ajar to get some breeze in the room. Pictures are the 80meter square room. Last 4pics are the midsize suite. Prices in chinese dy website are way cheaper.

Great experience; appreciate the warm hospitality from everyone, from concierge to front office, housekeeping to restaurant and lounge. Also loved the stunning bird’s eye view of Shenyang and the cozy night view in the evening!! Only one slight disappointment: the hotel doesn’t have any international sockets (albeit being an international brand - not sure if that’s the norm in China though). Plus-point was when the call centre staff took the initiative to send their concierge member to buy an adapter for me when I called them and was told that they didn’t have any adapters available in the hotel at that point in time to lend me. Really appreciated the initiative. Though the concierge member brought the wrong type of adapter (China to UK instead UK to China - thought that should be at least commonsensical for someone working in an international brand); and he was slightly unpleasant to deal with when he demanded for payment for the adaptor even though the wrong type was bought. He was also hesitant to escalate the issue to the duty manager at first until I really insisted. Duty manager resolved the issue seamlessly, took the initiative to bring one from their office and sent all the way to my room - again appreciate it. Overall, great environment and professional but warm hospitality. All other concierge members were also extremely helpful! Jacky also took initiative to send me a GPS location of the nearby police post when I needed to settle some documents there.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The level of service provided by the staff was impeccable, and the attention to detail in terms of cleanliness was commendable. While the room price included breakfast for two, we were unable to avail of this offer due to our fasting during Ramadan. However, we definitely plan to take advantage of it next time. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, surrounded by numerous shops, and is a convenient 30-minute drive from the city center. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. One minor suggestion for improvement would be to address the issue of doors banging early in the morning when the cleaning staff enters the rooms. It startled us a few times until we got accustomed to it. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

I didn’t take photos of the room because it was exactly the same as the pictures provided on the platform. It was very clean and new, with complete facilities and a rich breakfast! I am very happy to eat the mixed chicken rack! The service staff at breakfast were very welcoming and really made you feel at home. The location is quite convenient, just below the Huaiyuan Gate City Gate building. However, the traffic here at the city gate is quite congested and self-driving is not suitable. It is more convenient to take the subway. The station is just across the road. You can also walk to the Forbidden City, Marshal's Mansion, and Lots of delicious food. There was a heavy rain in Shenyang one night during our stay, and the laundry room was particularly busy. It was quite fun for everyone from all over the world to gather together and chat about their travels.

The room is spacious, the air is fresh, there is no odor, the bedding is very clean, the pillows are made of memory foam, and there are two standard queen beds. It is great to have a rest with children. The top floor is on the 29th floor. It has good light and a wide view. The location is quiet in the middle of the city. You can rest well. There are two independent rooms. Adults and children can relax and feel comfortable at home. It is not far from various attractions and shopping malls in the city. The starting price is around. If it's far away, the subway entrance is downstairs. For food, there is Pizza Hut and Rice Village Bibimbap downstairs. This is highly recommended, especially if you are bringing children. It is clean, hygienic and tastes great. The price is affordable. There are also snack streets and shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient. The service attitude is very good and very enthusiastic.

Booked this hotel for one day but the experience was so good that I booked this same hotel for one more day. Even the breakfast was so good that I booked again. It was so tasty. Even vegetarians can give it a try. One of the best budget friendly hotel in shenyang.

The room was nice however overall this hotel was below our expectations in a few ways, given the price paid. 1) The check in process took 15 minutes and was quite frustrating with repeated questions. We are foreigners (but speak Chinese), so our passports had to be registered, however the steps could have all been done by taking a photo of our passport rather than us standing there after a long journey. It would also be better if they could have just asked us to sit down to wait, or told us approximately how long this process would take. 2) There are only two slow lifts servicing the entire building, with the amenities and reception floor on level 26, which is on a separate floor to all of the guest rooms. During peak times we waited a long time for lifts. 3) There are not enough laundry machines (only 2 washers and dryers) and we had to wait every time. 4) The gym is too basic. No weights, mats or aircon. 5) the daily housekeeping is not comprehensive. We were out of tissue paper for 4 out of the 5 days we stayed, and the rubbish was not always cleared.

Amazing hotel, very value for money. Hotel is very clean, nice, and modern. To add, a staff Josie Ji went the extra mile to help us with our breakfast add on as it was difficult for us as foreigners to pay for the offer using WeChat pay. Service from her was really top-notched! Most staff we met were also all very professional and polite! Great stay experience.
