Yuanyi Hotel (Bao'an Airport T3 Branch)

Many frequent travellers in China may had experienced hotel/homestay requesting them to give the hotel a 5 stars rating even though they may not deserved it. This is normal however some of them employ blackmail tactics and even force onto guests to get what they think they deserved. I had personally experienced this a few times in China but this hotel is particularly aggressive in getting a 5 stars rating. Upon checking out the receptionist asked me for my phone to write down the ratings for me in Chinese which I rejected. Then she said that unless she was given a good rating, her salary will be deducted😝🙈OMG! the distance and audacity she would go to🙈 Reviews from guests on any travel platforms are intended for travelers to get an informed idea of the places they are considering staying at but these days many of this reviews are fake or “paid”. The case for this hotel are: 1. It’s a little run down and needs maintenance 2. The pictures shown on it’s site does not reflect the reality of the establishment 3 it rained, rain water leaked in. The floor and wall was soaking wet. Nothing was done about it after I contacted reception so I took towels to block the rain. Unfortunate one off situation? But this should be considered by management (see pictures) 4. Staff should be better trained in guest relationship and communication
