Shangri-La Shenzhen Hotel Reviews

I usually stay at Shangri-La Shenzhen during my business trips for its proximity and is always my choice even for my personal trips. Even if I only swing by Shenzhen for a day trip, I will definitely have my dim sum breakfast in 香宫 before moving off to next destination. This time round, I had a last minute booking for my birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprised by the hand written note from Cheng Li - the Guest relationship officer. Cheng Li wished me a happy birthday and prepared a delicious cheese cake which was considerately stored in the fridge for me. The room is also decorated with a handmade artwork using towels which symbolized my Chinese horoscope! I am very impressed by the details and effort. I will of course continue to stay at Shangri-La Shenzhen whenever I am traveling to Shenzhen and will definitely recommend staying there to my peers!

A convinient location with decent declaration, but a rather bad experience in the morming buffet, with little variety on food choice

The hotel was near shenzen railway station, louhu boarder it was very convenient and easy and everything was available nearby..

The stay at the hotel was good. The hotel facilities are old but in good shape. The location is perfect for people who cross to and from HK. There are a lot of good places nearby to enjoy a good time, dinner, and shopping. Also, the hotel offers free parking. The amenities are good quality and plenty of them, which is very weird in those times of savings from big Hotel chains. Therefore I enjoy the amenities of this hotel. The only annoying thing was the cleaning service crew. They started to pressure me at 11 AM (checkout is at 12 pm), but they knocked on the door insistently, and after I went out, somebody reached me to ask me if the room was empty. It is a sincerely very uncomfortable sense. I prefer another hotel that respects those details. Referring to shower, the curtain was dirty and old, need to pay more attention to cleaning process.

Hotel located close to all kind of transport terminals, shopping malls. Neatly maintained and very courteous staff.

Location of hotel is convenient with various transportation. Service staffs are courteous and helpful.
