My family had an amazing time! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful surroundings and the traditional decor. The courtyard house was very clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But most importantly, lady host was very helpful, warm and made us feel so welcome! Water pressure is strong and the beds are very comfortable. Pictures didnt do justice to the real deal... simply stunning! The outdoor area was a highlight, peaceful surroundings, beautiful mini gardens and cool area even when you sit in the living room where we could relax and enjoy the nature. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions and amenities. We had a lot of fun exploring the area, but it will always be a treat to come back to such a lovely place. Overall, this ancient courtyard house exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway with family and friends. We can't wait to return. Thank you for having us. Excellent location, the hotel is within the Dapeng Ancient City, Many cafe and restaurant inside the the fortress as well that you can enjoy. The room is clean with own bathroom. Host is hospitable.

If you are planning to visit the Dapeng Fortress this hotel is a MUST stay place... The hotel is in a well preserved traditional courtyard house on the quite west end of the Fortress... A wonderful relaxing garden oasis cafe next door with great tea to drink and High speed Internet.. Most importantly is the family that runs the hotel is the most welcoming and has the best customer service that I have experienced in my 23 years in China..

I stay here every time I come to Dapeng, one of my favorite parts of visiting the fortress

She charges the least in the area, but most of the time the house is just empty. Often I was the only guest and she also went back to sleep in her own home. Last time I stayed there she brought some "long term" customers to stay there. They were going in and out of the kitchen and sitting in the little cafe outside eating fruit, which was beside my room and drinking until over 3am. I was the only other guest and a woman, but I had to go out of the room at 3 and asked them what was going on. That's when they knew there was another guest there. She obviously didn't tell them and next day acted like it was nothing. I would not suggest this guest house as the guesthouse manager does not care about people's sleep and obviously doesn't care about rating. The day before she was playing music loudly in the cafe the whole day and she watches her C-drama on loud the whole day as well. She tells people to go out in the scorching heat to the beach so she can sit alone and enjoy her dramas. Basically there is not enough room for people to stay in this small house without having to stay out most of the time if they didn't want to.

This place was fantastic ! It was clean, great location in the old town and very quiet ! It's not close the Shenzhen city but if you want to visit coastal areas of Shenzhen and have a more relaxed time, Dapeng is the best place to be ! I only planned to stay here for 2 days then ended up extending 5 days, I like the atmosphere, classical cozy Chinese home with great tea. The host is great and is truly passionate about the place + Chinese traditional culture.

Beautiful guesthouse in the ancient city. Shared bathrooms were spotless. Room stayed really cool so didn't need to use the air conditioner too much.

The location of the hotel was wonderful! It was a great to walk around or sit in the garden enjoying the atmosphere. The room was cute and small. The towels are not provided....so make sure you pack one with you, it wasn't a problem for me, I went out and bought some. The service was nice and accommodating. I eould definitely book again!

The room is clean, simple and elegant, the proprietress is kind and enthusiastic, and she cares about everything from optimizing the travel guide to the comfort and convenience of washing and brushing teeth. I am lucky to meet good accommodation and a caring boss when I travel alone. If I come again with my family and friends in the future, I hope to book here again and experience the leisurely daily life of the ancient house without rushing 🐚🧘🏻♀️

I came here again to spend the weekend. I felt as comfortable as ever. The environment was great, the hygiene was very clean, and everything was impeccable. I was already overwhelmed by work day and night on weekdays, so I came here to take a break. Watching the scenery on sunny days and drinking tea on rainy days, each has its own artistic conception. I will come here again when I have time next time~

Friends, super super recommended! Folklore is in the ancient city, and the accommodation environment is super good. Living in a century-old building, you can feel the charm of history. The mattress is also super soft, very suitable for rest! I also want to praise the beautiful boss. The welcome fruit is sweet ice watermelon. She recommended places suitable for us to visit and shared Chengdu rabbit head (delicious) with us! Full marks! Super invincible explosive recommendation!

Old houses all have a smell of tiles, like the smell of my grandmother's old house, which is very clean and the lady boss is very nice. The house is warm in winter and cool in summer. Very good

The well-preserved courtyard house is very clean and tidy. The boss also said that you cannot wear shoes on the stairs to maintain the condition of the wooden floor. The toilet is very small but fully equipped. There is no dry and wet separation, but the water flow is very sufficient and clean. There are no windows that can be opened in the room, but there is a small hole in the high wall, and some bricks on the roof have been removed, allowing light to shine in naturally. It is divided into two areas: upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs is a sofa, desk and toilet. There is no TV. The bedroom is upstairs and the bed is very comfortable. Elderly people should be careful. There will be mosquitoes, but the room has electricity and anti-mosquito liquid, which is very considerate. There is no coffee or tea bags, and no towels. You need to bring your own. Overall it is a very special and practical experience
