Hotels near Huiyanlu, Shenzhen

This is my second trip to Shenzhen in the past 20 years, and my friend (who I call Gege) has recommended this hotel. My flight was late at night; the receptionist barely understands English, but they love to help. My room was on the 4th floor. It was a mini single room type, but it has every facility I need. The room is clean—not that new, but more spacious than I thought. The only thing they don't provide here in this room type is a refrigerator. But it is fine with me. The breakfast is lovely. I tried everything except the congee because I didn't know how to order it. Oh, but you need to ask for the ”zhāo cháng quán” at the reception counter if you book the room that includes breakfast. It will serve from 7.30 a.m. until around 10 a.m.   I love the location of this hotel so much. It is located on the beautiful boulevard and just a few minutes away from OCT Loft, the art square. Lawson is just around the corner, as is the pharmacy, as well as some local restaurants. The Qiaocheng East Metro station is about 7 minutes away, but walking along the boulevard makes it feel like 3 minutes to me. The housekeepers are nice. Actually, everyone at the hotel is. I mentioned the housekeeper because she cleans my room every day, and that's what I need from coming back to travel for a whole day, but I feel that it was extra clean as she changed my towel and put in new, clean amenities for me every day. I tried to communicate with her on my third day and showed her my appreciation for her work. On my last day of staying at this hotel, I left a note on the bed, written in my bad handwriting in Chinese. I hope she will find it. The receptionist on that day also helped me call a taxi when my phone application was not working.   I love everything in this hotel. The price is reasonable. I won't say cheap. You get what you pay for, and for me, I got a little more than I expected. I'll be back once every year and will definitely book this hotel again.   If you are a solo traveler and looking for a lovely hotel in a nice location, not as busy in the city, and love the arts and a bit of strolling on the greenery boulevard, then H'Life Hotel (OCT Loft) or Huali Hotel is what you need. And booking with Trip.com is my best choice. My flight was cancelled once when the typhoon hit Shenzhen early this month. I had to cancel at the last minute, but I booked it with the free cancellation option. So, all was well. I got the refund later and then booked it again in the next 2 weeks. So please keep your good quality and maintain this standard, and then I will come back and recommend people come here too. See you again next year!

Near the business trip, the transportation is convenient, just 2 minutes walk from the subway exit, very close to the Window of the World and Splendid China, it is a pity that Shenzhen has been raining for two days and cannot go to play. The front desk lady is very good and very warm. The rooms are also very clean. The bedding in Vienna has always been trustworthy. Very comfortable.

The hotel in the district of OCT. it is difficult to find the hotel by car. So you must really know the road to the hotel front door. The location is far from the subway. Maybe about 20 min walk. In The neighborhood are a lot of taxi. You can easily get a taxi to go about everywhere. The hotel is neat. A little bit outdated, but still neat enough to be considered well maintained. Maybe my room was upgraded. The room is very big. The bed is comfortable enough, but for me a little bit too hard. In this neighborhood the hotels are a little bit expensive for the quality you get. But compared to other hotels in the same neighborhood it is for now the best for the money you spend.

The hostel is located in a very new and central area of Shenzhen. The OCT area has many artsy stores and alternative restaurants. The hostel itself has great service, the space was good, it was clean enough and they had an adorable dog. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Shenzhen.

The location is good, the service is okay, neither exceptionally good nor bad. One positive aspect is that they provide tea at the front desk in the morning. The biggest downside is that the room is on the ground floor and has a damp smell. The bedding is also damp, and there are noticeable signs of mold on the sink.

Hotel front desk a thumbs up as she let us just check in early as flight arrived early ie before 12 pm likely bcoz room available at that time. Unlike other hotel very restrictive even there are rooms avail to check in. Another thumbs up is the housekeeping lady Deng Mei Gui gave a good service on top of checking with us if we need anything. Just a stone throw away the Metro entrance. TV should have some english channel for foreigner like myself rather than offering only local programme. There is a nice barbecue duck, goose, pork and chasiew fastfood stall outside the hotel and just next to entrance into the Metro recommended to have a quick lunch/dineer. Good view facing the seafront overlooking HK land.

Every time I come here, I am touched by the warm smiles and enthusiastic service of the front desk staff. Dongmin and Xiaopeng are both very warm and considerate. This time, there is also a little receptionist. Their warmth towards stray cats also reflects the friendship and warmth of this team.

Because the child took the Shenzhen International Communication Examination and chose this hotel very close to the school, it turned out that the choice was very right! It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the school from the hotel, and it is only a road away. It is very convenient. On the morning of the exam, we saw the jammed traffic in front of the school. We walked past it was really worrisome! Although the hotel has no public facilities, the surrounding area is convenient, and there is a convenience store at the door, which can solve breakfast and supper. There are also several parking spaces at the door, so you can stop at the door if you are lucky. You can also park in the underground garage of the building. Due to the shortage of parking spaces during the exam, the entrance and basement were full. The waiter directed us to the garage of the building next door, saying that the parking fee during our stay was reimbursable. The manager of the garage in the building next door told us to charge 15 yuan a day for parking. We almost lost our ears. I have always thought that I must have heard it wrong. Until the next day I checked out, it was really 15 yuan, and I was reimbursed immediately when I took it back to the hotel reception. I have always believed that consumption in Shenzhen is high, and I never thought that there would be such an affordable parking fee. You know it costs 16 yuan an hour in Guangzhou! Speaking of the hotel, it’s like many reviews have said. There are many smart facilities in the hotel. The room number is displayed on the carpet at the door. It will not turn on after check-in, and it will turn on when check-out or vacancy. There is a smart toilet in the room, a mirror, and projection movies on the bed. The room is new but has no peculiar smell, the air conditioner is cold enough, and the shower water is large and comfortable. In general, the rooms are not big but they are all available, enough for business trip study exams, and the price is affordable. Here are some suggestions. First, the hallway carpet is fluffy, and the fluff is flying everywhere. Although the room is not carpeted, there are fluffs falling on the countertop and the ground. It is necessary to strengthen the vacuum; the second is that the room number displayed by the LED light is on the carpet at the door. If you have checked in, the lights will not turn on, and will turn on when you check out or vacant rooms. But after we went out for dinner, we couldn’t find the room we were staying in. The door and the corridor decoration were connected together, and the door could not be separated for a while, and there was no room number reminder on the door. Find out our room It still took a while. My son laughed and said that this might be the meaning of ”return to hermit”. Hope it can be improved. Will stay nearby in the future. I wish the service better and better!

Rooms are clean and smart-assisted. Location is a short walk to the train station. Very friendly staff and good service! Would recommend!

Excellent hotel Good location in Futian Short ride from Futian high speed station and about 20-30 min taxi ride to Shenzhen north station. Good service although the English level of the staff is not high. Bonus: The hotel is linked to a small shopping mall with an excellent bakery.
