Best Hotels near Shenzhen Railway Station, Shenzhen

I was a little uncomfortable and hurriedly found this hotel close to Luohu Customs and cheap. I thought that if I didn’t rest well, I would change it. I didn’t expect it to let me pick up the treasure. The room is very large. For this price, it is very good value. What surprised me even more was that there was a small balcony, lying on the bed, opening the balcony door, the sun was shining, the breeze was slowly, and I really felt at home. The little sister at the front desk was as kind as family. I had medicine to be stored in the refrigerator. When I told her, she said: ”Bring it downstairs and give it to me.” 😀😀 Happy. There are fast food snacks and fruit shops within 100 meters downstairs. Metro Line 1 and Line 9 are about 5 minutes walk. Dongmen Pedestrian Street, Vientiane City, Shenzhen Book City, and Diwang Building are no more than 5 minutes drive away. I really recommend friends to live, the price is very high!

Great location with lots to do within walking distance. There is a great little craft brewery right across the street (Richcraft) and a bbq place with a nice patio just down the road. If you don't have too much luggage, you can even walk from Luohu port exit. It is a busy area and you will hear some horns, but some white noise will drown that out. The pictures of the room are for a jacuzzi room as the hotel was kind enough to upgrade me. The rooms are a bit old but the furniture is in great shape so it is a very comfortable stay. A little disappointing that the television is not viewable from the bed though. Breakfast is good and there are western and chinese options. Sadly I never got the chance to try the pool. The only issue I had was during check in. The initial room had an issue with the hot water for the overhead shower which I discovered when taking a shower. I was switched to a new room but it smelled of cigarette smoke. I was then given a third room but it needed to be cleaned. I went out to run an errand and when I came back, the person who I had initially spoken with had gone out for dinner and no instructions were left about the room. I was given a fourth room but when I went to inspect it, it was a different style. When I went back to the lobby, there must have been communication about the third room as it was then arranged for me and everything was fine. The stay was then very comfortable but it was initially quite frustrating that I had to repack my luggage and go through four rooms. The final note is the room came with a 100 yuan voucher for the restaurant but it was difficult to understand how to use it. I ended up not using it. There was a cafe/bar on the main floor. It would have been more convenient if the voucher could be used there.

Location: 9/10 The hotel is located in a central location within walking distance to dongmen, kk100 and mixc and many eateries nearby. For luohu, I think it is a good location. Room: 7/10 It is relatively new and clean. Love the swivel chair that is very comfortable when working in the hotel room. However, the room lacks a safe and a fridge which are essentials that I require. Aircon takes awhile to cool down. Bed is comfortable but windows are not cleaned from inside and outside. Amenities: 9/10 the free use of washer and dryer is an attractive point to stay here. However, the gym is old and does not have a workout bench for use of the dumbbells. Breakfast is relatively simple and decent. Similar to mumianhua (5* hotel). However, it could have more western items like sausages, baked beans and ham but I understand they do cater to more domestic travellers. Overall, a decent hotel to stay at.

This is the worst designed hotel I have ever been in. The room was spacious enough yet I could not find a convenient place to open my bag . The kettle area was easier to access if you climb over the bed. The Aircon temperature was uncontrollable. There was no place to hang my toiletry bag. On the pro side, the area is very convenient and lively. The price is reasonable. But there are other hotels in this area I would prefer to try next time.

Location is perfect, right above a metro station and short walk to the Old Street or Laojie. The room is more like a one bedded apartment with a spacious sitting room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us as much information as she could on check in and linked us to the hotel WeChat group for any assistance we might need. The only drawback was that cigarette smoke drifted into our room through the ventilation system and it bothered me quite a bit. I suppose it is a common issue in most Chins hotels and really nothing much can be done about it.

This was my third visit to Shenzhen, and the best accommodations. Front desk is very friendly and prompt to address any issues. They always had an English speaker available. A big shout out to Jacky Chen. The breakfast buffet provided many options, and outstanding service. Great value given the location and cost. I wish there was more enforcement of the non-smoking policy/signs.
