The boss is very careful in running this inn, you can see it and feel it. I stayed in the Starry Sky Room. This room is very strange, or very strange, because it is a room built with a circular shed on the roof. When I first entered, the position of the bed in the room was ”a bit problematic”. Because the end of the bed faced the door, my friend who was traveling with me said that placing the bed like this was not good feng shui and would affect my sleep, so I moved the bed again after I entered. The area of the room is quite large, and the separation of dry and wet is also done well. The door is a classic small corridor in the guest room. The lens is a floor-to-ceiling window. The view from here is the gym and the public swimming pool. This is the room in the main building.
The side of the main building can also see the cableway of the water and mountains. The outside scenery is still OK. But looking at this side of Building 2, the sun will be a little less. The bed in the middle is also a standard room style. There is a dining table. There is a reception desk. Small TV is complete.
The electronic digital control here is still at the previous level. The degree of automation is not particularly high, and the light button in the room here is hidden in front of the pillow, which is a bit inconvenient to use.
In terms of the bathroom, the separation of dry and wet is OK. The bathtub is in a good location here. There can also be a sliding door, so you can see the bathtub in the guest room. Children can also see it in the guest room.
The bathroom space is quite atmospheric, and the things used are still disposable, so this is not bad. The shading of the curtains is quite good, which is very conducive to sleep. The guest rooms are indeed of a certain standard.

In this hotel, everything is perfect, at a very convenient location. Check in and out services are fast, but the lobby is without air con.
Inside the room, the bed is comfortable, is clean and with all the necessities. Towels are soft. The only negative point about this hotel is: the hotel is facing the main road, with very heavy traffic. This hotel is without double glazed window, therefore, it feels like the car passed by your head, very noisy from day and night. I would recommend the property developer, to renovate the hotel again, it must be with double glazed windows. Don't be a stingy developer.
On the lower floors of the hotel, there is a mall with many shops and restaurants. With adidas, Nike, Starbucks and by the side of the hotel, there is a Walmart.

I usually stay at Shangri-La Shenzhen during my business trips for its proximity and is always my choice even for my personal trips.
Even if I only swing by Shenzhen for a day trip, I will definitely have my dim sum breakfast in 香宫 before moving off to next destination.
This time round, I had a last minute booking for my birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprised by the hand written note from Cheng Li - the Guest relationship officer.
Cheng Li wished me a happy birthday and prepared a delicious cheese cake which was considerately stored in the fridge for me. The room is also decorated with a handmade artwork using towels which symbolized my Chinese horoscope! I am very impressed by the details and effort. I will of course continue to stay at Shangri-La Shenzhen whenever I am traveling to Shenzhen and will definitely recommend staying there to my peers!

VVennellyn Xiao PeiAwesome experience and hospitality. The staff is kind to provide us early check in as my friend need breast feed. Location is located really just infront of huanggang mrt station. You could found all food, massage and entertainment opposite the road. The famous dimdoudak dimsum is also walking distance.
The room is clean and cozy, comfortable duvet and pillow, we had a great rest and even check out late to enjoy the day. Free laundry and gym is provided at L4.
Overall it is an awesome experience and we will definitely be back for next stay

I recently celebrated my always-18th birthday here lol, and it was nothing short of incredible. While the check-in processing took a bit longer than expected, the amazing staff, especially- Blue Du, really made my day special by offering me a beautiful room with a stunning sea view in a quieter area which required by me —thank you for that!
The beach and swimming pool area were superb—private, clean, and staffed with plenty of lifeguards, which made me feel secure and at ease. I truly appreciated the attention to safety.
As for the dining experience, I was pleasantly surprised by their Chinese restaurant, the food was delicious, and the dim sum exceeded my expectations—definitely better than your average dim sum place in SZ. (highly recommended the LaiChi shrimp ball and loster noodle, super yum!!)
To top it all off, the hotel sent me a lovely fruit basket as an IHG member privilege at night, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, it was a wonderful birthday celebration, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!!!

JJoshua Clement LoOverall experience were satisfactory. The hotel is conveniently located. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable. The amenities provided were adequate, and the housekeeping service was prompt and efficient.
However, I did encounter a significant issue with the ventilation. Despite staying in a non-smoking room, cigarette fumes were quite noticeable and unpleasant. It seems the smoke from other areas of the hotel was seeping into the room. Additionally, I was shocked to see guests smoking in common areas, including one instance where a guest boarded the lift from B1 with a lit cigarette.
I believe the hotel should enforce stricter non-smoking policies in common areas and improve their ventilation system to ensure a more comfortable stay in future. Hoping that the smoking policy and ventilation issues are addressed in the future.

ZZeethaThis is my second trip to Shenzhen in the past 20 years, and my friend (who I call Gege) has recommended this hotel. My flight was late at night; the receptionist barely understands English, but they love to help. My room was on the 4th floor. It was a mini single room type, but it has every facility I need. The room is clean—not that new, but more spacious than I thought. The only thing they don't provide here in this room type is a refrigerator. But it is fine with me. The breakfast is lovely. I tried everything except the congee because I didn't know how to order it. Oh, but you need to ask for the ”zhāo cháng quán” at the reception counter if you book the room that includes breakfast. It will serve from 7.30 a.m. until around 10 a.m.
I love the location of this hotel so much. It is located on the beautiful boulevard and just a few minutes away from OCT Loft, the art square. Lawson is just around the corner, as is the pharmacy, as well as some local restaurants. The Qiaocheng East Metro station is about 7 minutes away, but walking along the boulevard makes it feel like 3 minutes to me.
The housekeepers are nice. Actually, everyone at the hotel is. I mentioned the housekeeper because she cleans my room every day, and that's what I need from coming back to travel for a whole day, but I feel that it was extra clean as she changed my towel and put in new, clean amenities for me every day. I tried to communicate with her on my third day and showed her my appreciation for her work.
On my last day of staying at this hotel, I left a note on the bed, written in my bad handwriting in Chinese. I hope she will find it. The receptionist on that day also helped me call a taxi when my phone application was not working.
I love everything in this hotel. The price is reasonable. I won't say cheap. You get what you pay for, and for me, I got a little more than I expected. I'll be back once every year and will definitely book this hotel again.
If you are a solo traveler and looking for a lovely hotel in a nice location, not as busy in the city, and love the arts and a bit of strolling on the greenery boulevard, then H'Life Hotel (OCT Loft) or Huali Hotel is what you need. And booking with Trip.com is my best choice. My flight was cancelled once when the typhoon hit Shenzhen early this month. I had to cancel at the last minute, but I booked it with the free cancellation option. So, all was well. I got the refund later and then booked it again in the next 2 weeks.
So please keep your good quality and maintain this standard, and then I will come back and recommend people come here too. See you again next year!
