Spark by Hilton Shepherdsville Louisville South

I was disappointed that my room didn't have an ice bucket, glasses, coffee pot, microwave and small packs of tea or coffee in my room. The morning breakfast was very meager. There wasn't even any milk for coffee or cereal. Other Sparks by Hilton haxe full breakfast. The night desk clerk was rude a d called me at 1 AM at night.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great and near many eating establishments. There was no problem getting on and off the main highway. I recommend this hotel. The breakfast was good and hot!!

So when I booked this hotel, I feel like I should have been informed that it was under construction.. Dusty, unfinished and smelled like paint.. Which bothered my sons asthma.. The room was renovated but was missing a suitcase stand and the bedding for the pullout sofa.. when we asked for the bedding they gave us one sheet and a blanket that looked like it was dragged throw the parking lot.. The wall paper in the shower was dirty too.. The continental breakfast was terrible. There wasn’t much selection. It was bagels, yogurt and plastic wrapped muffin..

Need taller toilets.

We would not have chosen this hotel if we were told it was under construction/remodeling. Wanted to use the guest laundry but it wasn’t available and neither was the indoor pool. People at check in had never been at that location before and didn’t even know where or if there was a restroom near the lobby. Couldn’t get the heater to blow warm air in the room so slept in our clothes and coats. Very disappointed as it was a Hilton hotel.
