Stayed in a suite room. The view from the room is good and you can enjoy your meal while looking at this view. To be honest, the taste of the food is average, but it is full of ideas, such as putting blue agar on a large plate to represent the pond in front of you, and each dish on top represents a bird. . The quality of the bath was very good, and it was very comfortable to be in. The staff was polite and I was able to stay very comfortably. We think that price is low.

I was as little apprehensive staying here given the poor ratings, but I couldn't have been happier. Staff were friendly, and made an effort, although only 1 reception girl spoke any English. I had a Japanese style room overlooking the lake. It was massive, and very comfortable. The only issue was that the windows weren't double glazed, and it was freezing outside (-8c overnight), and the sitting area got extremely cold. I guess it doesn't normally get this cold though. The room was warm with the sliding doors closed. The onsen were perfectly acceptable. The rooftop one was great in the snow! I had half board. The food options were extensive at both breakfast and dinner. If you don't eat Japanese food the choice will be quite limited though. Good selection of free drinks, and decent selection of paid for alcoholic drinks. There's loads of common areas and places to relax. A previous commenter mentioned the long corridors, which is true, the wrong room can mean long walks to the onsen and restaurant. Overall, 5*. But remember this is a JAPANESE hotel, catering to domestic tourists, so don't expect an international style hotel!

初めての長崎県旅行でまず来たのが雲仙のこのホテルです。 【部屋】 部屋に入ると雲仙の湯畑が目の前で感動。広くて清潔、テラスもついていて部屋についているビールを飲みながらリラックスでき、最高でした。 普段温泉旅館では落ち着かないの浴衣ではウロウロできないのですが、館内着は着心地がよく、これで食事をいただきにいきました。 【温泉】 部屋にある温泉風呂はとてもリラックスでき、アメニティも質が良い。なにより、いつでも何度でもざぶんと入れるのがとても良いです。最初は大浴場がないのはちょっと残念かもと思いましたが、むしろ最高でした。 バスローブもあるので、風呂上りはこれを着てテラスで涼めました。 【食事】 洋風コースで、魚も肉もなにもかも美味しい。朝食は和食、洋食を選べます。和食にしましたが、これまたすべてが最高に美味しかったです。食事のスペースもレトロな感じですばらしい雰囲気です。 【スタッフ】 とても親切で、気持ちよくすごせました。 【その他】 2つのカフェエリアがあり、アルコールなどが無料で楽しめてお得。絵ハガキを無料で送れるサービスなどもあり、優雅な時間を過ごせました。 【総合】 良質な温泉と美味しい食事、温かいサービス、私のこれまでの中で最高のホテルでした。 遠くてなかなか来られないですが、このホテルに泊まるためにまた長崎県を訪れたいです。ありがとうございました。

Staying at the hotel is mainly because the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Nagasaki City, so you can save a lot of transportation expenses, make an appointment by phone in advance, have standard Chinese service, and pick up the shuttle bus at Nagasaki Station at 2 pm. The hotel is a standard Japanese family hotel. The service is absolutely first class. Basically, it is a 跪-style service. After dinner in the room, we will deliver Kaiseki on time. The hotel is Yunxian Hell. Although there is no large size of Beppu hell, But it is still worth a visit.

This time? Then, go to a hot spring inn. I made it ”Seiunso” with a good reputation for word of mouth. As a result, it was a great success! I was able to spend a fulfilling time in a waste of one night. The room was a bed, but comfortable as a wide 々. All the meals were delicious, including Nagasaki Wagyu beef. Breakfast was gorgeous and I replaced it many times. It was good that there was a pigeon, a local dish in Nagasaki. And after all, the bath was good! It was a pity that the large communal bath and the open air were completely different, but both were able to take a leisurely bath as wide 々. Especially while soaking in Tsuboyu, the time to watch the starry sky was very luxurious, and I wanted time to stop. It has become my favorite inn!

Check in at the nearby Hamakan Hotel, then return to the Gisco Hotel, press your PIN yourself and enter the hotel. There are no employees at the front desk. In case of emergency, it seems to call the Hamakan Hotel. Take your favorite drink from the refrigerator at the front desk １ book. Breakfast is also a system to take from the refrigerator by yourself, but I'm worried about safety because there is no one. At night ８ Sometimes, night shifts seem to come. It feels like an apartment or apartment with auto locks. The room is clean and tidyly renovated. Toilets, wash basins and showers are separate 々 so it is easy to use. There was even a foot massage machine and a hair iron. The view is great as you can see the sea from the room. There are seven and supermarkets just near the hotel. There is also a place to eat. I don't use it, but there are also large communal baths and table tennis tables.

I made a reservation with the cheapest plan, so I was assigned to the room closest to the main building ５ F. Half the scenery was a bridge, half the sea, and I could see the parking lot downstairs. The room itself is not small and modern interior, but the chairs and tables in the room were full of scratches and aging was conspicuous (I think it was the time to replace). The main building ６ F large communal bath is compact, but the scenery seen from the open-air bath was satisfied with the small island 々 like Amakusa (it is a pity that there is no sauna in the large communal bath). Dinner was served at a private room-style restaurant in １ F. I was able to enjoy the soft boiled sashimi, boiled fish, and octopus because I heard that the fish dishes were delicious Amakusa. I was full with a considerable amount. The breakfast venue was a banquet hall of ２ F. Compared to a luxurious dinner, it's neither good nor bad, and the honest impression is that it's not good (I stayed for several nights, but the menu content was the same). I heard a big laughter. I think I'm getting along well with the staff, but I felt that it would be better to refrain from the laughter that can be heard even in the audience seats. The staff waved to see off the customer who checked out first at check-out until the car disappeared, but the difference was that we checked out next time had zero see-off. It was a disappointing impression that I was receiving another. I thought it was a good inn to stay if I was just looking for dinner.

Stayed 4-nights whilst using Kumamoto as a base for day trips by train to Amakusi-Misumi, Aso-Miyaji, Nagasaki and Beppu. The Toyoko Inn is therefore ideal being within 200m of the entrance to Kumamoto Station and for getting about Kumamoto, the main stop for the Kumamoto Shiden (Tram) is right outside the hotel. As I had an early start each day I didn't get to try the free breakfast included in the room rate and arriving back late each evening, the food court on the 7th floor of the Amu Plaza adjacent to the Station proved really convenient (open until 10 ~ 11pm). Budget-priced hotels in Japan tend to provide small but well-eqipped rooms and Toyoko Inn is no exception. I opted for the cheaper room rate whereby your room isn't serviced daily, only fresh towels provided; even better value-for-money.

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J
