Shimla Hotels with Free Breakfast

I was satisfied with almost everything. The location is very good and very convenient to move around. The people at the hotel were kind. Breakfast was delicious without complaint.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Hotel Shimla, and while it had its moments, I left feeling somewhat underwhelmed. The hotel's location is convenient, but that's where the positives end. The property itself is surprisingly small, which wasn't what I expected from a Radisson hotel. The rooms are comfortable, but not particularly impressive. The staff was average at best. While they were polite, they didn't go out of their way to make our stay special. The service was slow, and we had to follow up multiple times for simple requests. The WiFi connectivity was terrible, with constant drops in connection and slow speeds. It was frustrating to deal with, especially since I needed to stay connected for work. To make matters worse, the bathroom had leakages and water would flood the floor from health faucet . It was a hassle to deal with, and I expected better from a hotel of this caliber. The biggest letdown was the price. Considering the hotel's limitations, I felt it was overpriced. There are better options available in Shimla at a lower cost. Overall, while Radisson Shimla has some potential, it falls short in terms of value for money. If you're looking for a luxurious stay, you might want to consider other options. Pros: - Convenient location - Comfortable rooms Cons: - Small property - Average staff - High price - Bad WiFi connectivity - Slow service - Leakages in the bathroom Room Tip: If you do decide to stay here, ask for a room with a valley view and make sure to check the bathroom for any leakages before settling in.

It was a wonderful experience and the stay at snow valley resort enhanced it. Staff are friendly, food is good, service is excellent and clean facility with a good view. The staff even have given us a customised service when it comes food. Great place to stay

We had a great time, went to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. The property is huge with a rich history. Rooms are spacious with a nice view. Food and spirits overall are good. In room dining and housekeeping is great. And there is nothing to talk about the Oberoi hospitality, it is easily the best amongst any other hotel brand. We got the perfect weather which was the cherry on top. The entire staff is accommodating and courteous. Some notable mentions: Sahil, Kushal, Mrityunjay, pool staff, Ashish and other housekeeping team, the entire in room dining team. We were very pleased with the stay and most likely visit again soon.

We had booked 3 rooms for our family at Radisson Kufri from 30th April to 3rd May 2022. The property is new, clean and has a lovely view. I particularly liked the lobby which had an 'old English inn' appeal to it. The rooms are well-decorated and are decent sized. After reading some reviews on the internet, we had booked superior rooms but realized that they have a 'wall view'. Specially the superior rooms in the wing which has the restaurant are very dark because they have a wall very close to the window. If you are interested in a good view, then either request for superior rooms with valley view at the time of booking or book a delux room. We had one superior room in the restaurant wing which we were slightly unhappy about. The hotel upgraded us to a delux room in the other wing the next day after check-in and did not charge us anything extra for it. Really appreciate this! I would like to thank Siddharth, Aditya, Rahul and others for ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. Considering that Radisson Kufri is a five-star property away from Shimla town, expect the food prices to be on the higher side. But the restaurant amazed us with yummy food during our entire stay. The breakfast buffet had an elaborate spread and everything was delicious. We also tried the dinner buffet on our last night and were again not disappointed by the quality and taste of food. Special thanks to Chef Rajesh Rana for himself checking on with us about the food quality and also the complimentary beetroot halwa which was very tasty. One of the family members was fasting on one of the days and had certain dietary restrictions which were catered to well by the chef. Some things that the hotel can improve on in the future would be to add more staffs at the restaurant during breakfast (they are already working on this). The hotel can also carry out periodic inspections of the entire facility for regular maintenance. For example - There was a bit of a leakage into the bedroom from a small gap between the bathroom glass and the wall in one of the rooms that we stayed in. Other than these minor issues, the staffs at Radisson Kufri left no stone unturned to delight us regularly with their service. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay at Taj Theog was very comfortable. The hotel is about an hour drive from Shimla but the views from the place are awesome. We had rooms on two sides of hotel and both were equally good. The spa at the Theog is a great experience and worth every penny. Theog site said guided hikes around the property and most of the time in the properties I have stayed the hike is free. Though it is not mentioned upfront a cost is involved they changed ₹1500 per person plus taxes. I had breakfast and dinners both days I stayed there and the local Himachal food prepared were delicious. The staff around the restaurant especially Neeraj and Bhandari were there to make sure we were well taken care of. Puris with peas filling and apple pickle on the side was very delicious. One thing if needs improvement in the menu is the sambar. 😅 Definitely needs some work.

Great hotel, great location and courteous staff and its the hotel is a heritage building. You can feel the history. Room comfort and food outlets are excellent. Breakfast is good with mix of indian and western choices. Restaurant too offers the mix at great taste. Ver helpful staff and front desk. The hotel is located right next to the famous mall road of Shimla, walking distance, ***y shopping and food outlets available ***** the road including branded shopping. The only down side is there is no vehicle access to the entrance of the hotel due local restriction, no vehicle road. One have to climb up 250m stairs, the hotel provides help to pick you luggage. Physically challenged and the elderly will find it challenging. There is option to use public electric lift 500m away and walk to the hotel. I will certainly choose this hotel in the future if I am visiting Shimla.
