What else can we say that hasn't already been said? The Cecil has everything you'd ever want, and more. Historic building? Yes. Convenient? Yes. Views? The best. Food? Excellent. Staff? Simply the best. Swimming pool. X No! But, if you are so minded, transport will be provided to go up to their sister hotel, 45 minutes further up in the hills, The Wild Flower. In an ideal World I would have 2/3 days at the Cecil (great location for taking in all the sights & history of the area) and then 2/3 nights at the Wild Flower for it's tranquility, gardens and views (and the highest swimming pool in the World?) Overall, probably one of the best city hotels in The World.

After scouring almost 10 properties in Shimla, I finally chose this hotel and trust me, my choice was right. Stayed for 3 nights and everything was well. Pro - 1- Location is few steps above shimla high Court parking. 2-Located at the beginning of Mall Road, you can start exploring Mall Road from here. 3- Restaurant staff is very co-operative. 4- Other nearby restaurant also available on walkable distance. 5- Front desk can arrange car to explore nearby attractions. 6 - Heater is available in all rooms. 7- View was awesome from room 603. 8 - 24hours hot water. Cons - 1 - Restaurant food cost is little higher than usual. 2 - Service is little slow but manageable. 3- Need few white LED ceiling lights as sometime warm white creats loneliness. But overall superb experience and Mr Suresh is very supportive. Thank you all.

A warm and friendly motel where we were made to feel like family. The service was amazing, the rooms were very comfortable and the food was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sightseeing was amazing.

Staying at Wildflower Hall was truly unforgettable and memorable. I have been wanting to go there since past 4/5 years but never made it. Finally visiting Wildflower was like a dream come true. It's like a fairy tale castle amidst lush greenery and peace. The hotel beautifully preserves its British-era charm, with elegance evident in every corner. The staff was outstanding, welcoming us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. Each meal was a delight, flavorful and prepared with such love that it felt incredibly personal. The food service was warm and homely, adding a special touch to the dining experience. Our room was pristine and luxurious, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The expansive, serene property, complete with a delightful forest hiking tour, made it easy to unwind and reconnect with nature. Already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks to the entire team for making our stay so marvelous !!

We had booked 3 rooms for our family at Radisson Kufri from 30th April to 3rd May 2022. The property is new, clean and has a lovely view. I particularly liked the lobby which had an 'old English inn' appeal to it. The rooms are well-decorated and are decent sized. After reading some reviews on the internet, we had booked superior rooms but realized that they have a 'wall view'. Specially the superior rooms in the wing which has the restaurant are very dark because they have a wall very close to the window. If you are interested in a good view, then either request for superior rooms with valley view at the time of booking or book a delux room. We had one superior room in the restaurant wing which we were slightly unhappy about. The hotel upgraded us to a delux room in the other wing the next day after check-in and did not charge us anything extra for it. Really appreciate this! I would like to thank Siddharth, Aditya, Rahul and others for ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. Considering that Radisson Kufri is a five-star property away from Shimla town, expect the food prices to be on the higher side. But the restaurant amazed us with yummy food during our entire stay. The breakfast buffet had an elaborate spread and everything was delicious. We also tried the dinner buffet on our last night and were again not disappointed by the quality and taste of food. Special thanks to Chef Rajesh Rana for himself checking on with us about the food quality and also the complimentary beetroot halwa which was very tasty. One of the family members was fasting on one of the days and had certain dietary restrictions which were catered to well by the chef. Some things that the hotel can improve on in the future would be to add more staffs at the restaurant during breakfast (they are already working on this). The hotel can also carry out periodic inspections of the entire facility for regular maintenance. For example - There was a bit of a leakage into the bedroom from a small gap between the bathroom glass and the wall in one of the rooms that we stayed in. Other than these minor issues, the staffs at Radisson Kufri left no stone unturned to delight us regularly with their service. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Its not a taj, its a humble request to all fellow travellers who book at this property. Dont book here thinking its a taj experience. i read couple of bad reviews regarding bad food , lack of staff etc but i thought come on its taj its not possible , but all reviews proved right its not a taj, if u wanna be ripped off stay here, we stayed here and had to travel 15 km to have food at oberoi it was that bad , we were family with 3 kids and 2 elderly ladies, we still did it as they did not understand that the quality of food n beverages is so bad, i booked for 5 nights wanted to stay away from hustle bustle of shimla and wanted to relax and have a good time with my family but they ruined my entire trip, its was a waste of money and they apologised by providing free diner , as if i couldnt afford it , i clearly asked them after the first night to charge me for 2 nights and let me check out, instead of doing that said they cant refund anything even though it was their fault . The gm and fb manager have only thing to say is we are sorry and we are ready to do whatever u want, but they dont do anything apart from offering to make food, please understand your chef and staff are not of tak standard no matter how much u try or give free its nit gonna work. Please stay at wildflowerhall and not here if u are paying this sort of money as this hotel is a shi…. On top of that it says kids stay free and i called before hand as they are 6 yrs old , i was told they provide extra beds and then they charged for extra bed saying baby cot is free and not extra bed. Breakfast menu is same every single day which is also odd have never seen this anywhere else. Anyways its endless never thought taj would provide such service. Very disappointed and even after wanting to check out in 1 day had to stay for 5 nights wanted because they dint provide a refund.thank and wah taj for your great service. No more taj now because of taj theoj..
