The hotel is right by the sea, and many people come here to surf. Although there are not many shops around, there is a shuttle bus to and from the station every half an hour. The service staff are very polite and smiling. It can be seen that it is an older hotel, but it is carefully maintained. Less than 600 per person per day, including two good meals, there is a hot spring, and the cost performance is very high.

The hotel is on the beach of Duoduohu. After taking a bus to Shimoda Station, I changed to a bus and then walked for a while. The hotel is on a hillside, so I climbed a small slope. It was a bit tiring to drag the suitcase. In fact, the hotel has a pick-up station, which means you have to start from the beginning, so next time you need to check in, you can refer to the picture below. The pick-up bus is parked next to Shimoda Bus Station. The room facilities are relatively old, but the hotel service is still quite good. The front desk staff explained very clearly on the day of check-in. The lobby and room views are very good, with unbeatable sea views. The hotel has an entrance to the beach, which is suitable for tourists who come to surf. At 5 am, there were people surfing in the sea. The hotel includes breakfast and dinner, which are very exquisite and the service is also in place. The hotel room is very large. Compared with the hotel in Yokohama, it is really too spacious and suitable for taking children on vacation.

Almost perfect. Except for the facilities being a little old, especially the bathroom, but with the beach one minute away + the large room + the amazing service experience, I will go back again. The first floor feels damp when passing by, so the upper floors are better. Don't miss the trail to the open-air hot spring on the top of the mountain. If you bring children, you must go to the sea aquarium. The taxi costs 1500 yen.

A beautiful location right beside the Pacific. A very well -designed modern hotel with the option of staying in traditional Ryokan - style rooms. Staff were all very well trained, helpful and friendly. A choice of western or traditional Japanese style dining. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The hotel has Onsen bathing on - site and a small outdoor pool plus a children’s pool. It’s a paradise for surfers.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath on a weekday in November. Not only could I see a beautiful ocean view from the open-air bath in my room, but I was also impressed by the beautiful stars. I wish I had prepared a constellation app beforehand. Overall, I thought it was a good place to stay, but the mirror in the large bath was old and hard to see anything because of the water stains, and even though I ordered coffee in the lounge after breakfast, it took a while to be brought... There was no sign of coffee being made, so after waiting for a while, I asked if it was ready, and the front desk staff hurriedly made it for me with unsanitized hands. The lounge staff seemed to be late after that. There is a night light next to the open-air bath in the room. It's unfortunate that I didn't notice it right away, so I think it would have been nice if they had notified me.

On a whim, I planned a trip to Shimoda. I found it on a website late the night before and decided based on the pictures, my budget and reviews! The location is remote, but if you want to enjoy the hotel and Shirahama, there's no other place like this☆☆☆☆☆

By the way, when I came before Corona, the restaurant was renovated, and it was modern and beautiful with plain wood. Most of the seats have a view of the sea. I sat in a semi-circular seat a little behind the table seat, but the chair was comfortable like a sofa. Dinner is exactly Beautiful! The sashimi was fresh, the appetizer was beautiful, and the hors d'oeuvre dip was creamy. The hot food, the hot pot, and the boiled goldfish were all delicious. I thought that the sweetness was like Minami Izu with the black honey of Tokoroten. In addition, alcoholic beverages (sake, shochu, wine, etc.) at the restaurant are about 5000 yen, which is expensive for our house. I ordered several bottles of Japanese sake and drank them bit by bit. The breakfast was beautiful, delicious and satisfying. I thought it would be comparable to a luxury inn. The customer service of everyone at the restaurant was also good. The hospitality is also very good.

This is an inn where you stay when you go to Tatado for surfing. I have stayed many times in the past with meals and without meals. I was exhausted when the big boiled alfonsino was served at the end of my full stomach because of the large amount of dinner. The food is very delicious, but I think it would be nice if you could adjust the amount according to the needs of the customer and to eliminate food loss. It's great for surfing, you can check the waves from your room and go straight to the beach. It is really convenient with board lockers, changing rooms, and hot showers. Even after checking out, if you have time, you can use the large public bath, and you can also use the parking lot and the hot shower outside. Best place for surfers.
