Location is convenient, 5-minute walk from JR Shimonoseki Station - through the footbridge or the underpass (footbridge recommended if you are carrying with you large pieces of luggage as elevators are available). Room setting is great - I especially liked the couch area. Cleanliness was acceptable, but could have been even better. Coin laundry machines at the hotel are among the best I've tried - the passcode lock feature of the machines prevents your clothing items from being mistakenly taken by others.

Good location near the train station but not too noisy. Staff were helpful even with limited English. Good place for solo travellers.

Great hotel. P/rice, cleanliness, comfort, service, rating 10. table and chairs are well distributed in the room. The HDMI input for the TV was very useful. as well as the USB ports for charging smartphones and tablets are fast.

Shimonoseki is a treasure place. There are only a few busy streets here, but the people are simple and honest. This JR hotel is very nice. You can store your luggage. There is a free hot spring on the underground first floor. It is only a four or five minute walk from Shimonoseki Station.

The hotel is about 5 minutes away from Shimonoseki Station. There are also shopping malls nearby and many restaurants to choose from. The hotel provides pajamas, which are two-piece sets. They are not common pajamas and are very comfortable to wear.

It's just a stone's throw away from Shimonoseki Station, so if it rains a little, you won't even need an umbrella. Last time I used it, the front desk told me about a restaurant that had delicious fish dishes, and it turned out to be a great idea, so I went there again. The Ishin no Yu was clean and comfortable, but the lack of a shower cap was inconvenient. Amenity items are placed in the lobby, so don't forget to take them.
