2-Star Hotels in Shinhidaka

It is a hotel where you can stay with a few pets in a hotel in Shizunai. There is no elevator, so you climb the stairs with your luggage. I think it is better for the big luggage to be designated ２ F. The room is not clean enough. The pet room was a smoking room but almost did not smell cigarettes. It is safe even if you check in late because there is enough parking. There is no place to eat around, so dinner is recommended after eating.

I’m on a one-night stay at the Hotel Laurel in Shizunai, Shin-Hidaka. The hotel is easy to find and is just off HWY 235 that runs from Tomakomai to Erimo. You can see it from the road. The hotel has good parking, and Hokuyo Bank is just across the street. Check in was quick, though I got a little annoyed when I walked in with no luggage, spoke to the check in person in Japanese, and was still asked for my passport (which I don’t carry as a resident of Japan). My room on the fifth floor is comfortable and better than expected for the Hokkaido countryside. Breakfast was a simple and traditional Japanese breakfast. Come with an open mind and you will do just fine. I can't say there is a lot to do in Shizunai, it's small-town Hokkaido. I was in town for an event. Walking around there are a few restaurants, a couple convenience stores and not much else. The beach is a few blocks away. For me, a quiet stay in Shizunai was just what I needed. I'd happily stay at this hotel again. Google maps says the hotel is 2 stars. I feel like it is easily 3 stars by Japanese standards.

The hotel believes that it is the best in the same area. It is also very convenient to go to the attractions. The room can see a small amount of sea views on the upper floors. Breakfast is simply great value. There are many types and many agricultural products in the area or nearby.

I was a horse racing fan for my husband and wife, so I used it. My wife wanted to stay in the room of melody lane, but I was sorry because I couldn't make a reservation. So I was booking another room. However, the staff changed to the room of melody lane Chan with kindness! (Apparently when we confirmed, we had booked, but it was vacant due to some circumstances) It's really a great memory. Thank you. The night rice was also served at the restaurant at 9F, but it was very delicious and very satisfying. The night view was also beautiful. You can also borrow a rental cycle, so it is recommended for those who want to see the ranch nearby. (You must book a ranch at the Furusato information office in advance) However, I thought it was tough if it was not a fan because it was a little far from Sapporo by bus for 4 hours. (I think this is all unavoidable. . .)
