Hotels near Hiraide Heritage, Shiojiri

I booked the previous night for early check-in this time and booked a total of 11 nights. As with the last time I stayed, the staff were very kind. The coin laundry had a detergent that can be used for free. There were many kinds of free rental goods for hangers, mirrors and other fixtures used in the room, and we used them conveniently. The sushiro in front of me and the cow horn in the same premises were used, but the convenience store near 1 was closed and only that was inconvenient. However, I think the hotel itself is 100 points full.

~7min walk from Matsumoto station with many food options nearby, on usual days. We went on 31 Dec to 1 Jan and the streets were empty; shops were 99% closed, except for Parco / big malls. Hotel staffs were super helpful and friendly. I loved the shoe locker concept at the main entrance of the hotel; you lock your shoes and go barefooted around the hotel. Hotel staff assisted to check on available restaurant opening hours, as well as reservation on 31 Dec since we weren't sure if places were open. Onsen (both indoor and outdoor) was the best, coupled with complimentary laundry facility (dryer at 100yen). Shampoo and body wash were all available for use. There are vending machines at the common area outside the bathroom. Complimentary ramen at night (do check with the hotel on the timing). Soba over new year's countdown at midnight was yummy. Wonderful overall experience. Will explore Onyado in other cities in future!

This hotel was booked as part of tour of Japan and we were there for only 1 night. As a solo traveller I was allocated a single room which was very small. It did however have a large bed which based on the space available was probably too big for the room. In order to get my case open to just get a small number of items I needed for one night I had to rearrange the chair and table so I could get the case open. The “closet” if you can call it that, was so small it only had 3 hangers and was probably only about 18inches wide right next to the door. I wouldn’t want to stay in this room more than one night. On the basis you pay a single supplement I find it poor that we solo travellers are given such small and inadequate rooms. In addition, as a tour from the UK, hardly anyone spoke English so it was hard to get the staff to understand when something went wrong, like my kettle which wasn’t working. In credit to the Reception staff, once I finally managed to get him to understand the problem he resolved it very quickly. Finally when we went to breakfast at 7.45am they were already full and we had to wait about 10 mins or so, then a number of the breakfast items had run out. There were 2 coach tours in and they didn’t seem to be able to cope or cater for the amount of people there. I did find the staff very friendly and helpful, so it certainly isn’t their fault. I wouldn’t recommend it for solo travellers.

A super hotel, convenient for both Matsumoto train and bus stations, with the best breakfast in Japan! We stayed for two nights in a twin room, which was reasonably sized, with a small seating area. Everything was spotlessly clean, with a compact bathroom and decent over the bath shower. The hotel has excellent facilities, including two laundry rooms, so we were able to get our washing done for 300 yen a load. You can monitor the progress of your washing and drying from your bedroom TV, which also tells you how busy the breakfast room is! The breakfast was amazing! Such an incredible array of sweet and savoury dishes, including roasted pumpkin in sesame which was divine. Reception staff spoke good English and were very polite and helpful. A really nice hotel for visiting beautiful Matsumoto Castle and the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at the City Museum of Art. We would definitely recommend it.

The staff and service were very appreciated. We forget some stuff in the room and the hotel staff tried so hard to find it and gave us back despite we already check out. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was very close to the train station with a few minutes walk. We really appreciated our stay and will visit again for sure. 😊

Less than 5 minutes walk from JR station, my moderate twin room is very spacious and comes with a work desk. Beddings are very comfortable and plenty of amenities are provided. They even have complimentary supper service at night. We didn't get to try the breakfast but they look great with a lot of varieties. This is a great place to stay in Matsumoto.

The employee 々 was kind and polite and very sensitivity. However, since it lives in the prefecture, it is a pity that it was politely refused to apply the application of Shinshu accommodation when it offered the application of ”it is not applied if it is not booked by the target plan”. When I stayed at Feena Vista last week, I only booked it normally on the accommodation site at the same time when I checked in, ”the customer lives in Nagano Prefecture, so Shinshu accommodation is applied.” (I didn't know that there was a accommodation fee until then) I was able to fill in the necessary documents on the spot and cash back \5000 (1 night 2 people) when I checked out.

This quirky but comfortable hotel won't necessarily wow you but they get the details right. Quaint architecture, comfortable yukata, very nice service (in particular they were very sweet when dealing with a lost passport situation!). A 12 min walk from the station, nice emphasis on local crafts, and very close to the matsumoto castle.

I walked from Kita Matsumoto Station to the hotel. ７ minutes? It is a walk arrival. The woman at the front desk had a smile and there was no unpleasant impression. The room was a room with Matsumoto Jo castle on the top floor. Especially at night Matsumoto Jo castle was the best and clean. The room size is a bit small, but I think it is reasonable to think of the price. The public bath is the feeling that it is said to be a small bath. ５ people are full if they enter. Moreover, there was no corona countermeasure at all. It is a breakfast restaurant, but it uses tong in the form of Viking, but the corona countermeasure is halfway and it is not possible. Use of disposable gloves for decadac and finger disinfection at the entrance properly. I didn't use several sets of disposable gloves. The employee doesn't know the face. In addition, there are couples who do not have a mask and are surprised. I think it is better to use care on the hygiene side because it is such a time. Dinner was surprisingly close to Matsumoto station.

The reception is kind. Stayed in a single room in the main building. Facilities were a little old, but cleaning was perfect. The large public bath is on the 6th floor, and the men's and women's baths are switched between night and morning. Breakfast is buffet style. There are many types of food, mainly Japanese food. There were only 3 types of bread. On the day I stayed, there was a fireworks display at Lake Suwa, and the viewing terrace on the 7th floor was open to the public, so I was able to see it up close.
