The slope is not long or steep, and it is completely acceptable. Check-in time is 4 o'clock. There was no one at the front desk before the time. I threw my suitcase and went out to play, and came back to check in at the appointed time. The front desk was a foreigner with a heavy accent, and the service attitude was impeccable. I lived in a Japanese-style room, and the ceiling light could not be turned on. I contacted the front desk for help and it came quickly. The switch for the ceiling light is on the TV cabinet! Not on the wall! It's really hard to find. Plus points: convenient public transportation, close to Zaki-no-Yu, beautiful sea view Minus points: You have to make your own futon, hot spring hotel but no yukata is provided (only one towel) Overall it's good, but it doesn't match the price, and the cost performance is not high. I chose this hotel because I wanted a hotel with "sea view + tatami + hot spring", and only this one met the requirements (there is another cheaper one, but there is no independent bathroom). After staying here, I felt that it would be better to pay more to enjoy better service, or give up one of them and find a cheaper one.

We were given a room on the fourth floor first. The hot spring facilities downstairs were a bit noisy. The lady at the front desk did not speak English and used a translator to communicate with me. She took the trouble to show us other rooms and tried her best to satisfy us. The hot spring is also very good, and there is ice water to drink at the door. The sea view outside the window is also very good, and you can just see Shirahama Beach.

This time, I stayed in a suite room on the 10th floor for two nights. Almost all the staff are foreigners, but they all work hard and can speak and understand Japanese almost normally, so there was no problem because they were foreigners. However, the curtain in the large public bath is still dirty, and I was surprised that it had been dirty for five weeks and had not been washed, probably because the hotel's executives were not on patrol. The carpet on the floor was also dirty and worn, and this is because it was left to deteriorate over time, but it is a state that cannot be found in a first-class hotel, and it is a shame that they have foreign staff who work hard. *This may be the same everywhere, but this time I encountered a male staff member slacking off again. When I went to the large public bath at 9 o'clock after breakfast, a male staff member was sitting on a chair and playing. When they saw me, they would hurriedly clean up, but last week, a staff member got naked, took his smartphone and went to the open-air bath and talked while bathing, so it seems that male staff members have a habit of slacking off. *There are sauna mats provided, but after checking in I went to the large public bath early to use the sauna, and found a large number of used mats there. They were still there in the same state in the morning, and I thought they probably hadn't been properly washed, so I didn't use the sauna. It seems that executives should be patrolling the area.

It is conceivable that this hotel is very close to Saki no Yu, and the bus stop is also next door, but the bad thing is that this hotel is located on a hillside, and you have to climb up and down to get in and out, and it is hard work to carry large luggage. There is no free shuttle bus at the station, and there is no Chinese service, and the English at the front desk is not good, so I need to use translation software, so I rarely meet Chinese people staying here. Unlike the opposite seamore which is sought after by so many Chinese. Because it is on the hillside, the view is absolutely good. All sea view rooms, the public areas may have been renovated, the baths and bars are quite new, but the rooms are a bit old. The rooms have twin beds and tatami mats. The balcony faces the sea, and the mountain is below. No Yu sign. Figure 1 shows the location relationship between the hotel and Saki no Yu.
