Cleanness of room was great but the rooms are getting a little run down. Service from staff was outstanding, they always willing to help and going beyond to help you even if u don’t speak Japanese. Fantastic building and design. Amazing architecture.

The environment is beautiful and the room is the largest among the hotels I have stayed in in Japan. The breakfast buffet includes sashimi rice, and the dinner buffet includes Wagyu beef eye dishes. Overall, I am very satisfied.

The castle is luxurious, the rooms are large enough, the hot springs are beautiful, the food and beverages are acceptable, the price is affordable, the shuttle bus, rental bicycles, and the service are good. Worth recommending.

I have stayed at Kawajiu for three times. It is one of the most representative hotels in Shirahama. The luxury and past are solidified, and the imaginative design is amazing❗️ Whenever I have the opportunity, I will definitely bring my family and friends back.

This is the third time I stayed at the Chuanjiu Hotel for a buffet dinner. Friends who love beef should not miss it, and the desserts are plentiful. There are many options for breakfast, there are many card slots in the hotel, and the room is spacious. During this recent stay, I found that many waiters came to Taiwan, South Korea, and Vietnam, so there is no problem in communication. This is the first time my friends are visiting. After eating the buffet dinner, I want to stay for an extra night. There is endless food.

The buffet was luxurious and delicious, and the room was spacious and comfortable! The restaurant staff were also very kind and happy!

On March 10th, I went to Osama for lunch. The strawberry dessert was delicious. The staff member who was grilling the meat was also very kind, and when I asked him about Okamoto-san, who has been working at Kawakyu Hotel since its launch in 2016, he was kind enough to let me meet him. Hotels are fun because of arrangements like this. He even came to our table to say hello, and it was a very enjoyable lunch memory. Thank you. All the food was delicious, but I couldn't try all the strawberry desserts, which was a shame!!! I would like to stay here again.

This was my first time staying here, and I was surprised at how luxurious the interior was. It felt like I was in a medieval castle. I was shown to my room, which looked nice at first glance, but after a while I could hear the wind blowing through the curtains, although I couldn't tell which room it was. It was so windy that day that I thought the windows were open, but the mysterious room had an open ceiling, and I could hear the sound coming from the top. When I contacted the front desk, someone from the facility immediately came to check on me, but they said it was unlikely that I would recover that day. After a while, the front desk contacted me and showed me to another room. It was a nice room. However, I was surprised that not only that, but they also served drinks at dinner. What's more, when I got into the car after checking out, I even received a present. The hotel's policy of not leaving a bad impression was consistent from beginning to end. There is a lot of harassment these days, but when it came to common-sense complaints, they were sincere. If I have another chance, I would like to visit you again. thank you very much.

When using Hotel Kawahisa, I looked at many SNS, compared the grade and price, and chose the Royal Suite. Also, the interior of each room seems to be different, and I thought it would be unpleasant if the style of the room was not to my liking, but then what? I was able to stay in the same room that I saw on You Tube and thought, ``This room is great!''　That alone gave me a high level of satisfaction. I went into the "King's Buffet" after watching You Tube and was told not to have high expectations, but all of the dishes were made with high quality ingredients and each dish was carefully prepared.It was very delicious. . During the season, the menu seems to be almost the same, but for dinner on the second day, I had lobster stew as a thank you for staying so many nights. I was very happy with the care I received and it became a good memory. Regarding the bath, I didn't have high expectations as I had heard that there was little information and that it was a circulating type bath with added water, but I ended up naming it the "King's Bath". Even though the water was added, the hot spring left a faint smell of sulfur on my clothes. As it is a residence living bath, the space design is not only good, but it also has a logical flow line where you first wash your body and then enjoy the hot springs and sauna. There were plenty of fluffy towels everywhere, giving it a luxurious feel. I stayed for two nights, and due to the rain, I spent most of my time in the hotel, but I was able to relax in the hot springs, read a book anywhere I wanted in the room, and walk around looking at the artworks in the hotel, so I didn't get bored. I spent my time without it. If I wanted to fully enjoy Kawakyu, I thought I would need two nights.　

I stayed there three years ago, and this time I stayed for consecutive nights. It is obvious that the quality and quantity of food at the King's buffet has significantly deteriorated and the number of items has decreased, the staff are less smiling, there are many small children and elderly customers at the buffet, children's cries and elderly customers' loud talking and laughter. The overall quality of the hotel has declined, such as not paying attention to the situation and not cleaning up empty dishes. I felt like this was no longer a hotel I wanted to pay a high price for. I don't think I'll ever go there again. I would like to find another hotel in Shirahama.

Overall, it's a great hotel, but there are a few things that make it a little disappointing. You can sit down and check in. When I entered the hotel, the staff greeted me and was kind. Welcome Service You can enjoy alcohol and nuts while looking out at the sea in the wonderful lounge (restaurant?) with a high ceiling. I had plum juice. I thought there weren't many types of soft drinks. I stayed in the Royal Suite. The room was very spacious and had a great view of the ocean. The interior of the room also has a European feel to it. Even though it was such a nice room, I felt uncomfortable with my yukata and strange slippers. Good thing I brought pajamas. There are two TVs in the living room and bedroom. You can also watch YouTube in the living room. I didn't know where the refrigerator was, so I looked around and found it on the shelf in front of the bathroom. There were also ``kagerou'' and tea products here. The teas are green tea and hojicha. The tea bags were in an old container that looked like tea leaves. I don't think a container is necessary. You can see the sea from the bath. Why is the washing area covered with drainboards? I didn't use it because I went to the public bath. The toilet had a hand wash, and there were towels too, which was great. The paper holder is disappointing. Since the building is old, I think it will be expensive to renovate it, but I would like to see improvements starting from the smallest details. Museum Not only are there famous paintings by Chagall and Yokoyama Taikan, but the hotel building itself is a wonderful work of art. King's Buffet There was a wide variety of food both in the morning and at night, so I was full. The meat and sushi in the evening and the French toast in the morning were delicious. I used the Royal Spa on the 2nd floor of the public bath. There are towels everywhere, so you don't have to take them from your room. There was a separate shower booth, and the open-air bath was also pleasant. The dryer space was also great, and it was my first time using a Dyson hair dryer. There was also ice cream, but I was too full to eat it. Although I wrote some harsh things, it was a hotel that I would like to visit again.

First of all, the lobby is impressive and luxurious. You can check in while sitting on the sofa. After checking in, you can enjoy free drinks and simple snacks in the lounge. We stayed in a standard room for two people, but it was spacious enough, with a large smart TV in the living room, another TV in the bedroom, two sinks, and a bathroom with a large bathtub and washing area, which we didn't use because we went to the hot spring bath. Although it has deteriorated a little with age, the room was clean and had a good view. Nowadays, many people wear pajamas, so the yukata was a little strange, given the image of the hotel. The large bath is replaced depending on the day, and the second floor is larger and has a nice atmosphere. Towels and other items are provided in the large bath. Lemon water, Pocari Sweat, and Oronamin C were available next to the sauna. There are also private booths at the washing area. The hair dryer was a Dyson. At the buffet, you can request less rice, such as sushi made in front of you, so it is good for people with small appetites. There were many types of desserts. The breakfast was unique in that it had sukiyaki in the morning, a seafood bowl that you could make yourself, and melon juice. I made a number of requests before my stay and they were all very accommodating, making it a memorable stay. Thank you very much.
