Key Terrace Hotel Seamore is a really lovely, modern and chic hotel in the south of Wakayama Prefecture. We stayed in a sea view room with Tatatmi area, and booked dinner at one of the two traditional restaurants within the hotel complex. First, the views are wonderful. Taking a relaxing moment at the infinity footbath, or a drink in the beer garden at night are absolute musts to enjoy the sights. You can also visit the underwater observatory, or use the onsen facilities. Some other reviews have mentioned, unfortunately, the place is surrounded by nature, and that means bugs. They're like cockroaches but not. If you're creeped out by things that scuttle, don't go to the outdoor onsen. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Sandanbeki caves, and a five minute walk to the fisherman's wharf. A short car ride will take you to Adventure World. within the hotel there are lots of facilities for enjoying your night for families or groups of friends. There's also a karaoke room on the 3rd floor (book in advance). Dinner was phenomenal. We had a selection of foods from the region, including freshly caught abalone and a freshly prepared mackerel sashimi (the head of which they turned into a soup for us once the sashimi was gone). The buffet at breakfast has a mix of all Japanese standards and Western styles. There's also the delicious pastries of Tettei bakery inside the hotel if you wanna buy something for the drive back. Would go back and would recommend the hotel to friends who are looking for a great stay in Shirahama.

The hotel is located by the sea and has a private beach (stone beach). The room terrace has a private hot spring, and it feels very free to watch the seaside hot spring. At 9 pm, the hotel will also arrange to play the projection on the beach hill with Laser for the pre-written message of the guests. This service is very heartwarming. If you want to propose and celebrate your birthday, you will dry it. The main course for dinner is Japanese-style roast and beef, with two Italian and Spanish pre-foods, Japanese fried rice and ice cream. An annex of ”SHIRAHAMA KEY TERRACE SEAMORE”. Check-in is in the main building about 100m away. The main building is full of resort feeling, but the annex was only a glimpse of the sea even though it had an ocean view. The rooms are compact and you can enter the hot springs in Seymour in the main building and have breakfast. This time, I made a plan with breakfast, but the buffet bread is also sold at the bakery in the hotel, so it might be good to buy bread and coffee and eat it. It's a little inconvenient when going to hot springs and meals, but considering the cost performance, I think it's enough here even if it's not the main building.

We were given a room on the fourth floor first. The hot spring facilities downstairs were a bit noisy. The lady at the front desk did not speak English and used a translator to communicate with me. She took the trouble to show us other rooms and tried her best to satisfy us. The hot spring is also very good, and there is ice water to drink at the door. The sea view outside the window is also very good, and you can just see Shirahama Beach.

The room was a deep inn with Japanese, Western, wide and narrow, various dishes, and a single plan without meals. All rooms have ocean views, and the room I stayed in is single. A housing complex was built in the old Mera fishing port, and Motoshima was connected by a breakwater, and it seems that ferries and fishing boats passed just beyond the wave-extinguishing block like a waterway. I don't care because I think it's a price noise problem. The hot springs seemed to be used in combination with free-flowing circulation, and the hot water was beautiful. The rice is inferior to the old Kanpo Center, but it can't be helped. Breakfast was very normal and the hot springs * were delicious. There is a paper cup and you can bring coffee back to your room. At the Kanpo Center, it was about 8500 yen with half board. Shirahama Onsen is suitable for people who want cospa because the inn is expensive. You shouldn't ask for service. It is cheap, so if you use it for consecutive nights, Cospa is good.

The building and facilities is modern. When we arrived the hotel, they will escort you to take the welcome drink first in lounge then the the lady receptionist will explain the facilities and show you the way to room. The hot springs is really comfortable and facing the town. Room is average as we booked the standard room but they do have rooms with balcony. Highly recommend! The dinner meal is served Italian and taste is yummy with quality. Morning breakfast is extremely delicious compared to other resort hotel. They serve fresh sushi, fruit, juice…… and separate three different sessions to eat. In summer, swimming pool is open to use & gym room is available. When we leave the hotel, two gentlemen help us put the luggages inside the car and farewell us until our car totally away from hotel. Really enjoyable the stay and recommend who come to Shirahama.
