We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it did not disappoint. We booked a room with a private onsen that overlooks the ocean. Unfortunately, the weather was gloomy and/or rainy most of the trip, but the view was still spectacular, and the onsen was incredible. The hotel itself has an older exterior, but the inside is immaculate. There is a bar with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the ocean. The Italian restaurant also has floor to ceiling windows that look over the pool. Our suite was the best (and biggest) hotel room that we stayed in while visiting Japan (including a massive shower, a double sink vanity, and a seat for the vanity). However, we did book a suite with a king bed, but were told that all of the rooms have 2 twin beds that can be pushed together. It was not ideal, but that was the only issue that we had. Infinito also had the most in-room amenities out of all of the hotels we stayed at in Japan. Infinito provided the usual amenities (hair dryer, water bottles, tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath slippers, etc.) AND several additional amenities (cookies to eat with tea, hair straightener, a second set of Bulgari amenities, a skin treatment set, hotel wear, indoor and outdoor slippers, etc.). The staff was absolutely fantastic. My husband had arranged for flowers in the room for our arrival, and the hotel was very responsive and able to accommodate his request. In addition, we had the pleasure of meeting Chiho, who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Chiho (and the rest of the hotel management and staff) helped us find restaurants and make reservations, and even arranged for shuttle service to the restaurants. The hotel also provided a shuttle from Shirahama station and a shuttle to Nanki-Shirahama Airport. One thing to note is that the hotel is still strict with Covid policies (moreso than the other places we stayed in Japan), so be prepared to fill out a questionnaire and wear gloves when dining at the buffets. Infinito is a little out-of-the-way, but is definitely worth the trek.

We are self driving from JR Wakayama to Shirahama about 2 hours, nice place and good location because can see the sunshine with nice beach view.
The onsen is super nice view face to the beach/sea and peaceful. Hotel breakfast is very delicious with traditional Japan and Western style , there is alot of choice too.
The staff is helpful to carry on our bag and luggage. The hotel reception have a convenient shop for us to buy the souvenir. I will be back again, thank you!

This was a wonderful stay - the room was huge. There was a ton of space. It’s a great place to stay for couples. The room had a big bathroom, traditional japanese futons, tatami mats, and robes. The hotel itself has a bunch of private onsens that you can reserve free of extra charge. It’s a great location within walking distance of a ramen restaurant, the beach, and a bus stop that can take you around shirahama/Wakayama area.

Key Terrace Hotel Seamore is a really lovely, modern and chic hotel in the south of Wakayama Prefecture. We stayed in a sea view room with Tatatmi area, and booked dinner at one of the two traditional restaurants within the hotel complex. First, the views are wonderful. Taking a relaxing moment at the infinity footbath, or a drink in the beer garden at night are absolute musts to enjoy the sights. You can also visit the underwater observatory, or use the onsen facilities. Some other reviews have mentioned, unfortunately, the place is surrounded by nature, and that means bugs. They're like cockroaches but not. If you're creeped out by things that scuttle, don't go to the outdoor onsen. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Sandanbeki caves, and a five minute walk to the fisherman's wharf. A short car ride will take you to Adventure World. within the hotel there are lots of facilities for enjoying your night for families or groups of friends. There's also a karaoke room on the 3rd floor (book in advance). Dinner was phenomenal. We had a selection of foods from the region, including freshly caught abalone and a freshly prepared mackerel sashimi (the head of which they turned into a soup for us once the sashimi was gone). The buffet at breakfast has a mix of all Japanese standards and Western styles. There's also the delicious pastries of Tettei bakery inside the hotel if you wanna buy something for the drive back. Would go back and would recommend the hotel to friends who are looking for a great stay in Shirahama.

The sea view room was great, very clean and tidy, beautiful and comfortable, private outdoor spring in the room, excellent for staying in the room. However, the meals were very disappointed that were unexpected to cost about US$600 for a night including dinner and breakfast for 2 adults and a kid. In particular, the foods for my kid were unacceptable for this price. The restaurant was not clean and the staff were not attentive.
We booked the room through Trip.com and mentioned we have a 9 years old kid with us. The staff said they have no such record and required me to prove. Luckily I have the booking record in my App and showed them we did. Then, they said it should be the problem from Trip.com. And then, they said ok and would cost 25000 yen extra for my kid. I accepted, and then they said they could not provide an extra bed for my kid and reduced the cost to 20000 yen, and I also accepted. As a customer, I felt this was not attentive and not polite to request me to prove I had mentioned a kid for the booking. That’s all fine, but the quality and taste for the meals were really unacceptable at this price range, the breakfast was horrible. At last, my case wasn’t a communication problem because the staff who talked to us wasn’t a Japanese and was a native English speaker. Anyhow, the facilities and the room of this hotel were excellent, but the meals and services were not worth for this price.

I went on a hot spring trip every year at a pace of about once a year, but I couldn't go on a trip all the time due to the influence of Corona, so this time it was my first trip in 3 years. I like the hot springs and sea views of Nanki Shirahama, and I have visited many times in the past, but I used the Shiraraso Grand Hotel for the first time this time. Shirarahama is in front of my eyes, the view from the room is very good, the hot spring is very good, and the skin becomes smooth. As for the meal, it was just the right amount for us, but I thought it was a little less and unsatisfactory for young people, and the rice for dinner was not white rice, but cooked rice. If you want white rice, you can offer it from here, but if you don't say anything, it won't come out. Besides, the rice bowl is a small bowl that I think is for children, and it comes out in a small amount, so if you think it is troublesome to refill it many times, you should tell it from the beginning. The employees were basically very customer service attitude, and there were only a few unfriendly people, but most employees 々 responded comfortably. 3 I stayed for a night, but I was slowly soaked in the hot springs and healed with delicious food.

We stayed on a tour. It is a Daiwa resort hotel all over Japan. The atmosphere of the lobby and the structure of the room are also very similar. That means the view of the room on the sea side is very good, but the room on the other side will have a parking view. There were many out of the room recently, but this time it was good to have a room on the sea side. In the case of a tour, this area is fortunate. The room is a large twin room and can be triple, so you can spend a relaxing time with a sofa. There was also a large communal bath, a large indoor bath and an open-air hot spring bath. There was also Bicho charcoal hot water because it was Waka and algae. The meal was a kaiseki meal set of the tour, but it was a little disappointing compared to hotels of the same series. Breakfast was delicious with many local ingredients. I went out for a walk to the beach in the morning, but I was able to go in about 15 minutes one way.

I was about to give bad reviews due to some poor check-in experience, but everything after check in is so good that compensates this journey.
First, the check-in process that brings me with bad experience: it is self-served and there is no any staff. By rights you should receive an instruction email with check-in PIN in advance, which I heard from other guests. However, I didn’t receive anything but Trip’s confirmation letter and I was unable to check in. And my sim card in Japan is just an internet card unable to make phone calls, which means I have no way to contact the hotel directly. My partner and I were desperately locked out of the hotel in the evening, after 7h hiking, with no other available hotel in the mountain. After waiting for over 1 hour, other guests helped us to enter the admin room where there is an ipad to call the hotel (why not make it available to guests without checking in?), and with the help of Trip’s agency, we finally checked in successfully.
Then here is the staying experience: so good that makes me almost forgive the poor check-in experience. Each room is a spacious individual house and ours has a garden for BBQ. The food is also self-served, with the cooking stuffs and ingredients in the fridge. It was unexpected that you need to cook yourself (I don’t think it was listed on room info when I booked it), but it’s not bad that Wagyu, chicken, and vegetables are served. The rooms are big and cozy, and you can do the laundry after hiking.
Everything is good about the hotel itself, just be aware of the self-checkin process and make sure you get the instructions before that.

For a westerner this is a bit of an odd place. Its quite easy to list its deficiencies- there is no bar, no place to sit in the Sun and , I’m afraid to say, we did not find the food vey palatable. Elsewhere in Japan we have steered for the small local restaurants with no English menu - we’ve loved the food but not here. The best you can say about breakfast is that you can construct a bacon butty but as for dinner … well we had pot noodles in our room most nights. A question of taste I guess. Why 5 stars then? Firstly the staff are marvelous- went the extra marathon never mind a mile , simply the best. Secondly our Japanese style room high up above the river was fabulous with awesome views of the river and oodles of space. Even loved the futons. The outside onsen is a great place to chill, if that is the word for a hot spring even if you have to wear an item of clothing which is a cross between a kilt and a loin cloth and does little to cover your modesty. A memorable experience

By Japanese standards, room size is large and I love the sliding window doors that can open the room completely to nature. Also very nice that even though this hotel has several onsens, the room still has a shower tub, and Western (not Japanese) toilet. Dinner is sumptuous and the best hotel dinner I had in Japan. Hotel receptionist spoke English so can be extra helpful, like putting me on the free hotel shuttle to the start of a Kumano Kodo hike high up in the mountains.

Outstanding
GGuest UserFirst of all, the environment is very clean and the location is easy to find. You can take the bus directly from the JR station to Shirahama Station. You can walk there in five minutes according to the navigation. The owner's sister is a Chinese compatriot who has lived in Japan for many years. The breakfast prepared for the guests is also very exquisite. Knowing that the baby had a birthday that day, she specially prepared noodles and poached eggs in the morning, which was a surprise for the baby who loves noodles. On the last day, she also helped us book the best restaurant in this trip to Japan. The B&B is on Ginza Street. There are delicious restaurants around the B&B. The white sand beach is a five-minute walk across the street. I will choose here next time I come to Shirahama.
11030krispIt was a family trip, twelve people formed a group, rented six rooms, the room can soak in the hot springs, while watching the sea view while soaking in the hot springs, very freehand. Because of the large number of people, I thought I would sit in the restaurant scatteredly. Fortunately, the hotel arranged a banquet hall (the kind of table that will be seen in ordinary Japanese dramas), everyone can talk to the same table and enjoy food. The service is also very thoughtful, I recommend everyone to live here.
TTrailBlazer671116Apply for two households through a travel agency. So I don't know if it's Mr. Musashi or the travel agency's responsibility, but I was still disappointed. I added the number of people via a travel agency, but it was not properly cooperated. I was worried about Corona and had dinner in a private room instead of a buffet, but I had to wait because it wasn't prepared for one person. In addition, there is no contact with the Japanese style instead of the western style, and the western style comes out. I didn't choose a buffet for breakfast individually, but I was able to get a seat at the end of the buffet venue and drinks freely from the buffet venue. The three-color rice balls for children's breakfast were hard and dried and could not be eaten. If you tell me that, you can eat buffet bread or white rice, but. When I went to the buffet, there was most of our breakfast. What a bit of a buffet stuff ...? ! What a cut-off. .. Disappointed. .. All the children want to eat buffet food! It was difficult to knead Da 々. Perhaps because it was a reservation via a travel agency, it was difficult to get the stairs with heavy luggage because it became an annex. Is the cute yukata on the 14th floor of the main building? I was disappointed that I had to be the above guests. Now I have a pretty cute yukata service everywhere, but there is too much gap in the hotel. The swimsuit dehydrator was old, and the lid was broken, so it didn't play its role. I'm just wearing a long-established name. The location is not good, but it may be better to take a shuttle bus to Shirarahama.
GGuest UserI stayed in a twin room with a dog. The same room for pets seems to be limited to the annex, and there is no bath in the room and you can't see the view, but the amenities for pets were substantial. I was a little worried about sleeping with a bed because I had a 6-month-old baby, but I was able to sleep well without worrying about falling because I attached two beds to the wall side! I was grateful for your concern. The hot springs also have crib in the dressing room, diapers trash cans, and children's chairs in the bathhouse, which is also helpful for families with small children. The dishes are buffet and there are quite a variety. Sashimi, sushi, steamed vegetables, roast beef, etc. Even baby food was placed. (12 months 〜 retort item) When I made a reservation from the official website, I stated that it was my wedding anniversary, but he gave me a commemorative photo at the restaurant. I was very happy with such a surprise even though I didn't tell you directly by phone. Only one point ‥ The elevator in the annex (pet room building) is too small. If you carry a suitcase, stroller, and a dog backpack on your back, you can't ride it unless you get insane and get tight. Also, there is a staircase in the corridor leading to the annex, so I put my luggage on the truck in the lobby, but I got to drop it all.
GGuest UserAn annex of ”SHIRAHAMA KEY TERRACE SEAMORE”. Check-in is in the main building about 100m away. The main building is full of resort feeling, but the annex was only a glimpse of the sea even though it had an ocean view. The rooms are compact and you can enter the hot springs in Seymour in the main building and have breakfast. This time, I made a plan with breakfast, but the buffet bread is also sold at the bakery in the hotel, so it might be good to buy bread and coffee and eat it. It's a little inconvenient when going to hot springs and meals, but considering the cost performance, I think it's enough here even if it's not the main building.
FFarAway803324About 40 steps to the entrance as others write? You need to climb the stairs. Be careful if you are bad because you walk a little from the parking lot. I think there is no problem because there is an elevator in the building. There was a self-sufficiency space, work space and Japanese room paragraph space with work facilities, and it was clean and comfortable. The bath was good too. I stayed on the first day of the consecutive holiday. As far as the customer layer is seen, there is no purpose of work, and it feels like a family, a friend, and a waiver. So the Japanese room part in the night work space was a drinking bar. . . It was a dormitory on weekdays, but the dormitory room was quite large and surprising, and it was comfortable because the exclusive area per person was large. What I was worried about was the snoring of the next person. It is better to have an earplug. The small valuable locker is on the first floor. Since there is no locker for large luggage, it is necessary to leave it at the reception or to defend itself by padlocks. There is no supermarket in the walking distance, and even the nearest Family Mart is walking around, so it is better to buy before check-in. The parking lot of the inn on the first day of the holiday was full, and when I went out easily and left, I might be able to take another parking space, and I felt very hesitated to go to buy it by car. Please consult the parking lot in advance to the inn. You should adjust it. The staff at this inn was kind and nice. The whole was a very good stay.
RRuiThe hotel is equivalent to domestic Samsung, but the room is large, one double bed and one single bed, two double sofas, one massage chair. Right to the sea, there is a supermarket downstairs and very close to the bus stop. If you don't buy a day card in Shirahama, the bus needs to pay cash, and various kinds of transportation cards such as watermelon cards will not work. One poise and two foods, the meal is not luxurious, but it is definitely an experience. If there is an introduction, there will be a special person to send it to the room. Someone from the store will help with the luggage, drive the door, and send a farewell. Hot springs are 150 yen per person. This time, the children who were under 6 years old did not receive extra money for accommodation, and there was no extra charge for sharing meals with adults.
GGuest UserI stayed the night before to go to Adventure World. It's a very nice building and it's on a bit of a hill, so the ocean view is amazing. It can be seen from all rooms. Since it is a historic resort hotel, the sofas in the lobby are very exotic and have a solid design. At this time of year, the illuminations outside are so beautiful that you can experience an extraordinary experience. Although it was a twin room, it was a very large room of 45 square meters. It looks like 3 people can sleep on the sofa bed. However, it was really close to the sea and the wind speed was 12 meters that day lol. It's like a typhoon. I think this is a common occurrence locally, but people who are bothered by the noise may not be able to sleep. But the room is comfortable. Unfortunately, there was no free mineral water available. There is a lounge near the hot spring where you can drink for free, so I had some apple cider vinegar there. The hot spring had a washing area, an indoor bath, and an open-air bath. A little lukewarm. I'm 155cm tall and my body is about chest-deep in the open-air bath. There is a place to sit, so you can soak up to your shoulders. Children are safe with adults. Our plan included breakfast, and the buffet was excellent. Since it is a hot spring area, I chose Japanese food, but there are also many local dishes. Kishu pickled plums, fish, whitebait, fish paste, suguki pickles, simmered and grilled dishes, and a wide variety of rice accompaniments are also available. The dinner menu was also appealing, but I didn't like it so I decided not to try it this time. Drinks included milk, oranges, teas, and several types of coffee, which were also abundant for breakfast. I was unlucky not to have dinner last night, so I was very grateful and impressed. Guests can receive local coupons from Imawakayama. They will give you a paper copy and tell you how to put it into the app, but Mr. Koganoi was able to use it at a souvenir shop. Change is also OK. It was a short stay as I stayed the night before, but I would like to enjoy staying at a hotel next time. I'd be happy if there was a bus that would take me to my adventures.
GGuest UserIt costs 6000 yen with breakfast and there is change. Cospa is good. I wonder if people who are a little concerned about the room will be concerned. I don't care because I think it's a price noise problem. The hot springs seemed to be used in combination with free-flowing circulation, and the hot water was beautiful. The rice is inferior to the old Kanpo Center, but it can't be helped. Breakfast was very normal and the hot springs * were delicious. There is a paper cup and you can bring coffee back to your room. At the Kanpo Center, it was about 8500 yen with half board. Shirahama Onsen is suitable for people who want cospa because the inn is expensive. You shouldn't ask for service. It is cheap, so if you use it for consecutive nights, Cospa is good.
1105yukiyIt's far away, but it's just in a good location to use a large bath and a self kitchen. Small children were together, but I was able to spend slowly without worrying about the surroundings. The room was cleaned well and the bed was fuzzy and comfortable. There is a refrigerator with a freezer. The washbasin and toilet are 2 by 2. The washroom of the open-air bath takes about 5 minutes to get hot water. The open-air bath in umeboshi is the size that all the families can enter and the children are very large. I was very satisfied. Apart from the open-air bath, there is a bathroom in the room. Outside the hotel There is a shower and faucet, so I think it will be convenient when it comes from the sea in summer. Self kitchen With everything, the oven toaster, microwave oven, dishes, spoons, chopsticks, children's tableware, lap and various things were important. The time was written at 7:00 〜 22:00. shampoo bar It is in the corridor near the public bath, and it is possible to put it in a small cup and take it. I went to the cherry blossom bath about 22 o'clock, but it was hot enough to not even put my legs. I thought I would have a little more temperature adjustment. It was a pity only for the public bath, but I would like to take care of you again with great satisfaction overall.
