Tennyou no Kan Hagoromo Japanese Hotel is a traditional Japanese hotel. We booked a Japanese superior room with two meals. The hotel service was first-rate. The dinner was particularly sumptuous. There were 12 dishes in total for Japanese cuisine. We were all very full. Breakfast was also Japanese cuisine. The hot spring was also very good. I took a bath twice, once before dinner and once before going to bed. It was so comfortable and I had a good sleep at night.

Although we arrived very late, the hotel staff was very friendly and came to help us carry our luggage. The meals were also very delicious. Tea and coffee were also provided in the room. After breakfast in the morning, we went out to Miho Matsubara, which was very far away. Saw Mount Fuji.

A very kind welcome and Mr. Nakai took care of the room and meals very hard. This is my second time, but I walked Matsubara for the first time in the morning. It was really convenient because Matsubara was right in front of the hotel.

Very special experience, this stay in such a typical ryokan. Extremely friendly staff, very attentive, nicely situated near the seaside, where you can do great walks with views on mount Fuji, authentic dining and breakfast, an unforgettable experience. Futon beds.

First of all, the location is wonderful. Miho no Matsubara is just a five-minute walk away. Mount Fuji is beautiful across the coast. The approach to Miho Shrine, which takes five minutes each way, is lined with pine trees and known as the "Path of the Gods." The hotel is not particularly "luxurious," but it has a tranquil atmosphere. The furnishings and rooms are traditional and tasteful. There seem to be many foreign staff, but I'm pleased to see that they pay even more attention to detail than Japanese staff. Meals are served in a separate venue. We enjoyed plenty of delicious seafood. Modern hotels and luxury inns are nice, but Japanese-style hotels with a traditional feel like this one should be preserved.

When I arrived on foot from the bus stop, the ryokan was closed. I was furious. After settling in, relaxing in the onsen and having dinner, my tensions were forgotten. Lovely, attentive and helpful staff. Hostel close to the pine forest and the large pebble beach but very far from the station. Small gift on leaving, to their credit. Nice attention.
