You get what you pay for. The rooms in the oldest buildings are really worn out and the quality of construction wasn’t the best to begin with. The bathroom windows don’t have glass, just a wooden grating so the temperature in the wintertime inside rooms is more or less the same as outside, might get chilly during nights. I had some small ants invade my room and had to shake them off my bedsheets before going to sleep. Some other quests reported leaks during heavy rain. Some of the buildings need reparation work done asap. The breakfast is good for the price. However some of the restaurant’s waiters were rude to my face for reasons I don’t know. Maybe I ate a bit much in their opinion, who knows. It’s unacceptable anyways. In hospitality you don’t have to like your customers, but you should be professional. Otherwise you’re in the wrong job. There are some other people in the staff that are great. The location is perfect if you want to see the antique Side and it’s ruins. It’s also right on the beach.

We stayed here 22 to 29th June 2024. The rooms were basic but were cleaned regularly with fresh sheets and towels . There was a small fridge in room and a hairdryer. The staff were lovely Yilmaz and so many others really made you feel welcome . We paid for wifi but air con was included for us. We stayed half board , food was fresh and did vary a little .Fresh fruit ( oranges, watermelon, cherries) was available at the buffet. Cocktails were 10-11 Euro. Fresh orange juice 3 Euros .The a la carte restaurant onsite can be used by residents and non residents ( seperate to the half board meal plan which was buffet style) The swimming pool was very clean and warm. (NB.the floor surrounding pool can get very hot) There is a well stocked shop and gift shop and a small private beach with free sunbeds. You can hire beach towels if needed. The sea was lovely for a swim . The hotel is perfectly located near the ruins and side old town , both walkable .There are a few shops/restaurants/bars along the beach front .Buses easy to use and cheap Tip- clear your room tab daily and keep receipts ( can use card , Euro or Lira) Nb.there are alot of steps which may be a problem for a guest with mobility issues The bad reviews are a little harsh as this IS a budget small hotel and it is a fair price. The staff make you very welcome !

Great hotel, lovely staff. Special mention to Yilmaz who has taken care of us throughout our vacation. Made everything better! The beach was nice, we also enjoyed hanging around the pool. The location of the hotel was really good -quite central and close to everywhere. 10/10 would stay again.

We are not the type to write a bad review but our experience at this hotel was too terrible not to. As two 20 year old women we felt very unsafe and vulnerable in this hotel. We arrived at midnight and there were no staff at reception and no way of letting anyone know we were there. Once somebody did come he was very abrupt and rude. We then had to pay for air conditioning (45 euros a week) and WIFI (10 euros per person) which we were led to believe came with the room. We were then led down a dark alley which had no lighting and our room was away from the primary complex and when we got to it, it looked like it was falling apart. Once we entered we were shocked at how different it was to the photos on the website- the main door handle was falling off its hinges, the sofa was ripped and falling apart, the tap in the sink was basically coming off, there were no handles on the cupboard doors, as we were walking around we had visible dirt on our feet because of how dirty the floor was (I think I would get less dirty walking outside), there was no toilet paper upon arrival, the shower pressure was non existent and the options were either freezing cold or lukewarm, and the window next to our door didn't have a lock and could easily be opened from the outside. Also, the WIFI that we paid for was on and off all the time and the aircon was more like heating since it was blowing out hot air. When we told reception about our problems they were blunt and acted as though we were inconveniences. They reluctantly fixed our air conditioning (they bluntly told us we were pressing the wrong button even though they didn't tell us how to use it in the first place and all of the buttons were not in English so we couldn’t understand it) and they put a makeshift lock on the window that was pointless because it could have easily been broken again. We were very worried and on edge, because of this we barely slept (the uncomfortable bed with 1 pillow each and sheets that felt like towels did not help our sleep either). When we stressed our worries about our safety to the man at reception, he laughed at us and brushed us away, making us feel belittled and did not help with our feeling of unsafety. No member of staff ever apologised to us after we complained and we did not feel reassured at all at any point. Generally, the staff were incredibly rude and very unhelpful. There were people constantly trying to get into our room. First the cleaner tried to come in so we told her ‘no thank you’ after she just opened our door and she didn’t really understand us, one of the men at reception knocked on our door and when we opened it he was forcefully trying to pull the door open whilst we were asking him politely to leave us alone, and then at one point there was man that we did not recognise trying to get into our room and attempting to look through our windows and lingering around our room (this all happened in a couple hours)- there was no sense of privacy or security at all.

Please don’t let other bad reviews put this place down it’s my forth day in. You do have to pay for aircon and WiFi for the week which is 55€ but worth it considering the weather. Be mindful when booking your room. Partner and I paid for a standard. If you wish to have the beautiful huts then pay extra. My partner and I are staying on a terrace right above the shop and restaurant can’t hear any noise which is lovely. The staff are helpful and polite. Breakfast team are awesome. Rooms have been cleaned everyday and fresh sheets and towels. Walk out from the shop and restaurant you are local to everything. The restaurants in the old town are lovely the food is incredible and not overly priced. Everyone asks if you like to pay in lira or euros. Everyone so kind plus the kitty cats and dogs and puppies everywhere (if your animal lover) pool side is lovely and warm the pool restaurant is amazing. Enjoying my stay so far

We just got back from our weeks stay at Leda Beach and after reading some poor reviews we were quite worried initially but we had the best experience here! We stayed in a bungalow and it was well kept and clean, we were delighted with the water pressure in the shower. We did have to pay for wifi but got aircon for free. The pool area was relaxed with good music playing throughout the day. The staff were great! Special mention to Yilmaz who was so lovely, helpful and attentive, he even reserved our ‘favourite table’ for us in the restaurant some nights, such an asset to the Leda team! Also Selman - there was no ‘hotel entertainment’ at Leda Beach but Selman made up for this! What a funny guy. The whole vibe here is so relaxed and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for the type of holiday we were after. Location wise it’s perfect, short walking distance to the old town and harbour and plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs along the sea front and obviously backs on to the ancient ruins. We absolutely loved our stay here and are definitely feeling the holiday blues now we’re back home after an amazing week.

Me and my partner who are both a young couple came to this hotel for 2 weeks after hearing mixed reviews and I can’t quite understand why they were mixed. The hotel its self is beautiful we had a few problems with air con but we managed and when speaking with reception they gave us a discount on the air con price. I can’t fault the staff from the beach front to the restaurant they’re all lovely. A special thanks to YILMAZ one of the employees here who is friendly and made the hotel stay very fun and enjoyable.
