A very cost-effective homestay, the owner is managing it very carefully, the location is very good, within walking distance to the museum and night market. Clean and sanitary, strong air conditioning, take off your shoes when entering the building, the shower head is a bit leaky, it is better to put it on the ground. It is very cost-effective to have such a room at this price. When visiting Angkor Wat, you can ask the owner to help call a taxi if you need it. There are also two bicycle rentals nearby.

The staff were friendly and had great advice about which attractions to see and how to see them. The room was big, clean and comfortable. This was a good base from which to see the sights. It is also close to lots of restaurants, markets and the riverside.

Wonderful place to stay during your visit to SR. Lovely, friendly hosts who will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Good location within easy walking distance of markets, restaurants and bars. Clean, tidy rooms; great roof terrace for relaxing after a long hot day exploring temples. Delicious breakfasts. By staying here you’re also helping to support the host’s foundation which provides amazing support for education to less privileged children both in the city and in rural areas. (Check out the Ponheary Ly Foundation website)

Highly recommend. Seven candles helped us arrange our trip to Cambodia. They worked with us to construct an appropriate itinerary (complete with volunteer time), arranged a driver (with a luxury van) and served as a tour guide. Side note …Tour guides are registered in Cambodia so you have to be qualified to provide these services. We saw temples, Angor wat at sunrise etc etc etc. perfect balance of activities for our family. They even assisted in getting us tickets for the local highly recommended circus. Seven candles is family run and it shows. Everything is flawlessly executed at the highest level. Highly recommend and will definitely be using them on future trips.

The staff is soo friendly and always helpful. The room I got was a good size with a balcony. Great matress, queen bed, could sit at the desk indoor or use the table on the balcony. Warm water in the shower, kettle and coffe and tea get a refill every day. Laundry left outside the door comes back in the afternoon. A closet to store suitcases and hang your cloth. Cleanest room I ever rented. CheckIn is easy too. I highly recommend to stay in this family run guesthouse whenever you come to SR.

I've been to Siem Reap four times and stayed here three. I love this guesthouse. It is home away from home. It's a block from the river or 5-10 minute walk to Pub Street and the main market or a $1 tuk tuk ride. There is a nice convenience store 1/2block to the right. The rooms are homey and have AC. The Ly family, who operates this guesthouse, will make you feel at home and help arrange tours or activities. The breakfast is wonderful. There is also laundry service at a reasonable rate (around $2.50 kg).

Our second stay at this great value little hotel. It's in a handy location just one street back from the riverside. They are so welcoming. Make sure you eat breakfast there as the the jam is wonderful. They make the best breakfast in Cambodia!

Lovely guesthouse in Siem Reap. The staff were really friendly & helpful, the room was comfortable with good air conditioning (which was needed!). I stayed for 5 nights and had breakfast there every morning…the menu was varied, and food was delicious! I arranged a 3 day tour through Seven Candles…my tuk-tuk driver & guide were fantastic, and made it a great trip. The accommodation is also great value for money, in a good location, and my room was nice and quiet at night. It’s a really nice walk along the river if you want to go to Pub Street, but there are also great local restaurants if you want to eat nearby. The accommodation is also close to the National Museum.

The rooms were clean, a decent size and have balconies. Staff were friendly and you can get a good breakfast on site. Bathroom shower was q feeble spray and there are strict instructions not to put *anything* down the toilet! Guesthouse is on a busy road and was slightly too far away from the centre/Pub street for my liking – it’s a 15 minute walk. However, there are lots of food options around. Only downside for me during my stay was that the Wifi went down for 18 hours. I raised it with various staff members and initially got ambiguous shrugs and was told it was “slow” whereas I could see there was no connection at all! It wasn’t fixed until 9:00am the following morning - I had to move hotels because I needed to arrange other accommodation/flights.

Excellent stay at the Seven Candles. Lily really looked after us as did her family. I had a great tuk-tuk visit to the temples over 2 days plus visited local handicraft outlets & the circus. This was organised through the hotel (a family member drove the tuk tuk) and was very reasonably priced. The guesthouse staff are all very welcoming and the room was comfortable & clean. Enjoyed our stay

Very nice room, clean, with balcony and air conditioning. Competent, helpful staff who can book all the outings/activities you need. And the best breakfast (French style) in a very long time!! Excellent atmosphere. I recommend 150%.
