Gerofinikas Boutique Hotel

Super friendly and charming small family-run hotel Rooms could need a refrurbish and are very small (the standard rooms) but everything is neatly done and compensated by very friendly and helpful staff

We arrived at this family run hotel and were made so welcome. Spiros was so helpful with tips about Sifnos. The staff were exceptional and attentive when required. The views were dreamy as the hotel overlooks the vivid blue Aegean Sea. The pool area is just beautiful, calming and relaxing. Our rooms were clean and cool. The breakfast was plentiful and we also had lunch one day which was delicious. Just a gem of a place, couldn’t fault it. Picturesque, heavenly and idyllic!

This was such a beautiful place to stay! So clean I thought it was brand new only to find out it is seventeen years old. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with outdoor patios. The views of the ocean and Kastro were amazing. The breakfast was so good! Pool was a plus, I took a swim every evening of our stay. This was the first island of my visit to Greece and nothing compared to our time here. Spiro, his mom and all the staff were extremely accommodating. I cannot wait to return!

What is not to love about this family run boutique hotel. Firstly, that view upon arrival - quite exquisite. High up and overlooking the bluest of blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Secondly, the very warm welcome by Spiros. This is a gem of a place. Not only are the rooms spacious and clean - with a lovely area outside to sit and enjoy a glass of wine - but everyone is so friendly and accommodating to every need and request. We visited close to the end of a 3 week holiday on the islands of Milos and Sifnos - and I have to say that the evening meal we had in the restaurant here was one of the best we had during our whole holiday. We have to make a special mention of Vassiliki (hope I have spelt your name correctly) who was excellent in serving breakfasts, restaurant meals, coffee, cocktails - in fact everything associated with food and drink. We really appreciated her sense of humour and service with a smile :) The hotel is well situated - a 15-20 minute walk into Apollonia for catching buses to places on the island. In particular it is well worth checking out Kastro - an historic township steeped in history. Spiros will advise on places to visit. A highlight for us was being there on a Sunday and having the opportunity to try the famous Sifnos Chickpea Soup - absolutely delicious. But then, all the food here was delicious. A big thank you to you all for making our stay a very memorable one. And for Spiros driving us down to the port to get the ferry when we left. Very much appreciated. We will be back and cannot rate highly enough the warmth you all extended to us during our stay. A very well deserved 5 stars given. Damyn & Noel :)

This hotel will have you dreaming about coming back for the rest of the year. It’s a family run hotel and the family are extremely hospitable and offer incredible service. Stayed here for a week and couldn’t recommend it more! The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfast I’ve had, offering Greek treats and amazing coffee. The pool area is so peaceful with incredible views. Big spacious rooms and comfy beds. The location is 10/10, you’re kastro and Apollonia which have the best restaurants.

I’ve been coming to Sifnos for years, but this was my first experience at Gerofinikas, but not my last. Amazing view of Kastro, luxurious pool, loveliest team, great food & drinks, beautiul design and top notch cleanliness. Thank you Spiros & co ＜3
