A wonderful place to stay as a respite from two days of hot and dusty safaris. A tranquil natural setting in amongst established garden and shade trees with a great pool, wandering wildlife, good food accompanied with local musicians. Very friendly staff, who were willing to ensure our relaxing stay.

We came to Sigiriya Jungles hotel for Chef Apollonius cooking demonstration and we would recommend this activity to anyone interested in Sri Lanka's unique cuisine. Under Chefs watchful eye each of us had hands on experience making about 8 dishes,each one more delicious than the last.Our efforts were placed on lotus leaves and served to us as a wonderful meal...by far the best so far on our tour.We loved the many fresh vegetables and different tastes,herbs and spices. As a bonus Chef Apollonius gave us a tour of his busy kitchen. A highlight of our holiday especially for my husband who thinks he will certainly try some of the recipes we were given.

Sigiriya Rock is my favorite place, I visited in ruins area. Polonnaruwa is good too but too hot in the day time. Lots of elephants saw in a our safari, the first time I saw more than 200. Hotel was nice, Specially the front manager is very nice too. Pool was extremely relaxing with a nice surrounding. Thanks to all. Hope to visit again.
