The suite was spacious, comfortable, and warm. The bed and pillows were the best. We had a wonderful view of the harbor and fjord from our living area and balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant, which is under different management was disappointing and did not come close to living up to the standards of the hotel. Our one dinner was disappointing for food taste and size - for example a very small piece of cod with an unsavory sauce and mix of extras. The menu was quite limited also. And, fir breakfast there were "plastic" eggs and little fruit and no hot cereal. Then, all 3 days we were asked to leave at 10 sharp. Not what I call the standards for an expensive restaurant operation.

The Sigló hotel is perfectly located for a visit in the area. It has a great outdoor hot pot, a nice bar and Restaurant, and very comfortable rooms. The window seats in our room were cosy and offered a great view. Will look forward to visiting again

on the other hand, their evening restaurant menu was far too expensive and the quality did not live up to the over priced main courses

Wirklich sehr schönes, sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal.
Es gab einen richtig, coolen Hot Tub mit Blick auf den Hafen und dazu noch eine schöne Schneelandschaft.
Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren sehr gut. Der Aufenthalt war klasse. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Great little town to spend the night in northern Iceland. The hotel is fantastic. Hot tub with beautiful views. Great bar to have a cocktail after a long travel day.

Loved coming back here, stayed in one of the suites, was expensive but that was the availability for our dates. Great service! Comfortable beds with lovely views from room. Love the outside hotpool and sauna, so relaxing with view of harbour

A clean hotel in a good location in this idyllic little town. There were no particular shortcomings in the room. Only a strange low-frequency hum could be heard during the day, which was only a nuisance if it was otherwise completely quiet. The hotel restaurant was reasonable, some dishes were very good and some only average.
