This hotel experience was disappointing despite reasonable pricing for Singapore. The room had a moldy smell, indicating poor maintenance, and there was insufficient staff to clean rooms promptly. Water quality was subpar, with unappealing tap water and no provision for filling reusable bottles. Food delivery on New Year's Eve was frustrating, requiring payment at the door and malfunctioning card taps. Overall, while the staff were professional, the management's failure to address basic operational issues significantly marred the stay, overshadowing any positive aspects of the hotel.

Theres no bidet only selected room. Tv cannot be connected no chromecast or anything smart. So disappointed with things around here. Upon checking in there is no bathrobe no water bottled. Watermelon have to take from dispenser using our own bottle else purchase it at $5 at reception.

Great location with MRT right outside the doorstep. There are few malls from walking distance. The only thing not as great is we need to take our own drinkable water from outside as the hotel doesn’t provide water bottles.

My pre-paid booking for a deluxe room with a king-size bed and on the high floor was not met. The hotel reception told me that they are overbooked after making me wait for 25 mins. They gave me a room on level 4 with a king-size bed, but the room conditions are bad for the price I have paid - SGD 264.00 WITHOUT BREAKFAST! Mercure Roxy is under the management of Accor Hotel. It is a disappointment to see that the service and amenities provided by the hotel do not meet the standards of Accor Hotels. We didn't enjoy our stay, even if it was for a night before we flew off. The new metro right at the hotel doorstep gives the hotel the advantage to travellers like us The lights in the room are insufficient. It's dim along the doorway and wall mirror. The curtain was not able to close properly, too. TV remote control is difficult to use. You need to enter some kind of code numbers from the TV screen before it can be activated. Honestly, travellers need simple and easy access to amenities in the room. We want to relax and not fuss over the remote control just to watch a program. With the hotel close proximity to the airport, they're blessed to have aircrews staying in the hotel. Aircrews need a good rest before their next flight. The hotel needs to renovate and upgrade to meet the price they are charging.

It's our 3rd stay over here at the Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore. We did a 3 days 2 nights over the long weekend. As per usual, the hotel staff warmly welcome both my mum and myself upon reaching the hotel. Xhecking-in was pretty smooth. The hotel re eption was being renovated and it adds the brightness 🔆 and glow. Very impressed and nice. 👍 We truly enjoyed our stay over here. Wished that we can stay longer. Have taken notice that there are no more complimentary mineral water being given to the hotel guest in the rooms. Was more than happy that we have a free upgrade to Deluxe Twin. Bravo. The room was spacious and comfortable. With the TEL line, l am sure there will attract more tourist or local guest as the transportation makes it so convenient for all. We definitely look forward to our next stay over here. Meanwhile, do keep up the great service and keep smiling always. Cheers. ❤️

I paid extra for twin bed as we needed twin beds but they provide double bed. Saying twin bed is not clean upon check in. They also said double bed and twin bed are same price when obviously it is different price during booking. And they lied to trip.com that they provided twin bed. Check in time is 2 pm and we checked in around 14:45 and room still not ready. I can understand rooms might not be ready but the thing is when we complain, they dont even apologize. I sent email to the hotel, got first reply in a very rude manner and after i sent second email, there is no reply anymore. How come the international chain hotel like Grand Mercure service can be like this? Does the upper management even know this is the case in their hotel? This is not a one star two star hotel that we have to compromise everything. very disappointed with the reception service. this is a big disappointment from an Accor Chain hotel.

Definitely a place to stay if you were to tour around Katong area! Walking distance to Katong where you can eat and experience many good food and unique Peranakan culture! Love the size of the room, a good price for such a big room! Definitely be back again!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and a large part of that was due to the excellent service we received. Justin at reception made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Choosing this hotel was definitely a great decision, even though we originally considered staying closer to Chinatown. The New Marine Parade MRT station, conveniently located right in front of the hotel, made our stay even more perfect.

Housekeeping Issues: The sink in my room had visible stains. There was a strong piping smell coming from the toilet. The tissue paper in the toilet had an unusual leather-like odor. Check-In Experience: I observed that certain customers appeared to receive prioritized attention during check-in. Despite queuing ahead of some of them, I felt overlooked and had to wait unnecessarily long for assistance while they were ushered to the self check in counter. I believe these issues could be improved to enhance the experience for all guests. Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. Hotel is not expensive, lobby newly renovated, but room was a bit too dated. Carpet had musky smell and light switches were all manual (no smart room features). Hence the cheaper pricing.
