The hostel is clean but far a bit from mrt. I like the female bedroom because the toilet is inside so you no need to go out from your room to take shower.

The room is not big and is full of people every day. Only one air conditioner works. The toilet is closed and the air is not ventilated enough. The facilities are relatively old. Little India is downstairs and you can visit the Indian temple. Those who like Indian food are lucky to stay here

LIKE IT BGTTT! For a couple who likes backpacking, this is really suitable for a comfortable rest stop, clean bathroom, really strategic location! Everywhere close. What's most worth it is the nice location!

The worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. I’m surprised that they are still in business. The rooms are dirty and smell bad. There is no ventilation in the rooms or bathrooms. There was 16 people sharing the room with only one bathroom!!! The rooms are so light that you can barely sleep. The fire exit sign lights up the entire room, which is very annoying if you are the unfortunate ones who scored a top bunk. The key pad to get into the room is far too loud. It wakes everyone up when someone accesses the room late at night (or needs to leave early). We had some pretty respectful people in our dorm, although despite trying their best not to wake us when coming and going the key pad to the door would wake us all up. The only reason we stayed here was because it was the cheapest hostel in Singapore for a few days stopover. The price still isn’t actually that cheap and for $10 more you can get a way nicer place. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend a little bit extra and actually get some sleep (and not have to hold your nose while you sleep because of the smell lol). The staff hardly talked to you either and when we arrived we didn’t get shown around (I.e, where the heck are the toilets). You have to remove your shoes (and slippers) before entering the room, which I think is a great idea for cleanliness. However the bathroom in the rooms are filthy so you definitely need to wear shoes in there!!!

On first arrival I was pretty underwhelmed by the hostel, just from going off the pictures on *********** etc. The staff at reception were nice and welcoming and accommodated us to check in early. We were staying in a double bed bunk in a room of 16, which I had previously tried to book less but wasn’t available. The beds themselves were pretty comfy however we did have to ask for another blanket as it wasn’t big enough for the both of us. The room and bathroom itself could do with a freshen up, the paint etc is falling off and the shared bathroom is covered in mould. We actually didn’t even shower in that bathroom as it freaked us out (there was a cleaner one upstairs) The location is pretty central and easy enough to hop on the train into the centre (also pretty cheap). And the food in Little India is very good and very reasonably priced. Overall, probably wouldn’t stay here again but if you go in not expecting anything then might be worth a stay.
