*HONEST REVIEW WITH PHOTOS_ DONT STAY HERE- They now call themselves a co living space not a 4 star hotel?! Make your mind up
0 stars if it wasn’t for Jerrit being nice once hotel realised they’ve had a massive error! Management double charged me due to a miscommunication between *********** and the hotel. It took 4 days of stress , multiple calls and emails to bad unavailable management to get it resolved and the resolution was a refund for funds I shouldn’t have been charged (they refused multiple times) and a $5 laundry token for horrendous service.
Beyond that this hostel pretending to be a hotel is terribly rundown and not as advertised. The pool is a mouldy , shoebox sized that can fit 2-4 people max , is 1m deep, has a unsafe broken light floating and exposed and all accessible by stairs , a smoking area walkway and an area without lights after dark!!! Nothing screams multiple star hotel at all.
Other misleading amenities include an empty gym with Brocken mirrors (not as pictured), smelly dirty communal kitchens with stained cheap furniture/rugs and a smell of old fridges. None of the site is accessible to those with Prams or wheelchairs, everything is steps and the ramps they have are useless to the large plants that block half the paths (used to try make the hostel look nicer or hide something). Even the lobby is multiple steps!
The rooms themselves, accessible via paper thin hallways that you can hear all guests at night (fun for sleeps), have marks, mould and dust all over the room - they are not clean or fresh , holes in the walls from moving lights or doors that aren’t fixed or repaired. They only clean twice a week if you stay there a week or more and that’s if they clean properly at all. The dust behind and under the curtains / bed and skirting boards was disgusting. The bathroom has a sink that wasn’t fixed down and moves, a leaking shower head and such bad shower doors and drains that one shower will turn your bathroom and therefore room into a wet room. Tried to put a shower mat does but pointless given the whole floor gets wet. Aircon was fine for me but for a friend he had to move twice because his wasn’t working, not an easy thing in this hostel. Internet wasn’t strong enough to watch the streaming services from the supplied tv …. POINTLESS and the view from the room was people looking in from a tower and a prison style fence.
Speaking of floors , enjoy walking around on a cheap , uneven vinyl that hasn’t been installed on a flat , level surface. You can feel the bumps and lumps as you walk which is uncomfortable and unsafe. Walking around there was mould and black marks/ dirt on all the walls and as I can see from previous reviews the hotel blames the weather for mould in your room and common areas - weird that I didn’t see anywhere else in Singapore or other friends hotels ? I see you say you paint to fix it so doesn’t that mean the whole needs a paint ASAP ?
Between steps everywhere , lack of basic amenities, misleading or old photos, live EXPOSED lights floating in water , mould visually everywhere and then bad cleaning and management included… if you want to risk staying here that’s up to you but a waste of time and money. It would be comforting if it was cheap but it’s not at ALL.
Photos all to document this disaster of a hostel and I need a chat to booking.con for advertising such misleading information. You’ve been warned ☺️😇
