Cons: - The whole hotel is undergoing renovation with hoardings/ tarpaulins around, had to walk over to another block via a transfer floor (also under renovation) and change lifts - Main pool and gym seems not accessible due to renovation works - Check-in took quite long to queue, even with all 4 counters in service, still by traditional pen-paper handling with requirement of deposit. Also noted some mass group room booking/ check-in probably by tours/ agents which largely took up reception’s capacity - Sound insulation is quite a problem. There was no seal under room entrance door (could see corridor light seeping through the bottom gap), and under separation door with adjacent room, could hear from neighbours quite clearly - Middle floor’s view of our room is limited to the podium pool (undergoing works), opposite hotel black and back lane of Funan mall. Reckon higher floors would have much better views - Windows of room are quite dirty from outside which affected the view. Single-glazing only, could hear city noises from time to time Pros: - Very convenient location at city centre right next to big Funan mall with direct connection to MRT and loads of food choice; right opposite to old fire station, Fort Canning Park, cathedral, etc; walkable to most city centre spots - Considerably spacious room in heart of city, which was recently refurnished with simple and modern touch - Clean interior, but with some touch-up on damaged toilet wall tiles. Some tiles seems to be replaced but with slight color variance with the remaining ones - Hot water with more than enough water pressure - Comfy beds and linens

The good thing is the staff helped with upgrading the room for free which is generous. While the experience could be improved just for hotel: 1. Under the construction which makes unconvinced to get to the room, and also the check in lobby is not at the same building 2. Changing room and baggage assistance is not good and inefficient 3. Room call service is also not efficient But the whole flow ordered by Trip.com is fluent and reliable.

Waited 1 hour for check in but great service by Sam and Shahirah (hope I got her name correct) at the counter made up for the experience. They gave us a free upgrade to triple deluxe room with connecting twin room. As it was National Day, each room booked was given a goodie bag with nostalgic treats and games. The rooms are newly-renovated and spacious. The rooms overlooks the swimming pool but we had to make our way through ground level to the next tower to swim. The pool is quite small but good enough for the kids to have fun. The hotel location is great with shopping malls, fire station museum, and children museum just stone throw away. Merlion Park, Esplanade, Suntec, Marina Square, and City Hall MRT are within walking distance. The room rates are much reasonable compared with the other hotels around it based on the room size and location. Would be even better if there is bath tub in the room. Overall, my kids and parents in law enjoyed this staycation very much.

The service was great. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The facility was nicely keot and clean. Had a great stay and experience.

The room we stayed is very big and have good view of the city. We have stayed in Peninsula hotel for a few times. Service and cleanliness are great. Location is superb too. Highly recommended.

Extremely spacious rooms with modern decor and good amenities. Hotel lobby is decent but surrounding areas of the hotel may bother some due to the hotel being situated in an old building. However, location is right in the heart of town (city hall mrt /funan mall). 4.8 stars overall. Provided hotel consumables are of poor quality (for a 5star hotel) so ensure to bring good soap / coffee and snacks etc. (Built-in water dispenser provided.)

I've been booking this place for many times. I love the place. Very accomodating to my request every time but sadly this time, the staff by the named of Nick was unable to provide a room with MBS view which I had requested a month earlier for deluxe room. So upsetting!! Also the toilet bathtub was leaking badly on my 1st day stay. The maintenance & housekeeping was promt to attend to it. Might consider to staycay here again.

Very good location. Close to MTR and business area. Staff was very kind and helpful. They’ve upgraded me to high floor without I even asking them.

The hotel is in a good location, with a metro station 500 meters away (not very close), the facilities are old, the service at the reception is average to bad, it takes 30 minutes to check in, the elevators are insufficient and the sofas and chairs in the lobby are not very dirty. But the worst thing is the outside, it is already a meeting point for women who offer companion services at night, giving an image not for families around the hotel area.

Don’t mind the deco we did ourselves but room was nice & super good location! 🙏

Under Renovation and noise from cars can be heard at low floor.

Since i heard of their renovation and upgrading works, have always been looking forward to try out the new rooms. Alas, the day has come! Somehow the room feels slightly bigger. Love the decor now. Toilet now has a bidet spray. Super useful! Pillows are super comfy. Bed is however, a little on the hard side. But still acceptable. Would definitely stay here again once everything is completed

Walking distance to MRT station. Room is comfy and clean. Roof top lounge only open for customer who take buffet 🥲.
