The check in counter staff (Jahan) was very friendly and we were given a free upgrade to their executive suite and it was a corner room with a late check out at 3pm. The room was very big with a separate living room area. They have two separate lounge area at level 3 for normal tea/non alcoholic drink with cookies/snacks. Their cocktail session is from 5 to 8pm at level 1. We went down at 5+ but there wasn’t any staff around so we have to wait for awhile before the staff is here to serve us. The drink menu consists of wine/beer/spirits and for food wise, there was a decent choice like popiah, spring roll ,mini chicken wings, kueh pie tee , cheese and fruits platter. Overall a good experience and will go back again .

Old and poorly maintained hetel - the water in the shower is either very cold or hot with low pressure, the room is stuffy and smells like mold. The location is nice, not far from the river.

I enjoyed my two night stay in the Copthorne, the location is excellent. Easy to travel into town from Havelock MRT and the Robertson Quay area has a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants. The pool and gymnasium area are really good. The rooms however are very jaded, bathroom in particular has seen better days. The room facilities are well overdue for an upgrade if the hotel wishes to badge itself as a 4* hotel.

Easy to check in and out. We love that it’s very near at the train station. It was also to go to the Stadium. They clean the room and change towels daily. It’s also quiet and peaceful. Nice view outside too. Thank you!

I had an enjoyable stay at the Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore. The hotel features spacious, well-appointed rooms with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff were courteous and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in and addressing any requests promptly. I particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered a wide range of local and international dishes. The hotel’s location is convenient, close to major attractions and public transport. The outdoor pool and fitness facilities were a nice addition, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the city. Overall, a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Location wise - Despite the opening of the new MRT Thomson line, it's in fact a long way to walk between the MRT station and the Copthorne King's Hotel, and our experience was extremely and terribly bad since we needed to walk without any covered/sheltered pathway/underpass/buildings around under the sudden pour of rain during the few days of our stay, and we were all completely drenched. The hotel facilities are all too worn-out : the slippery bathtub, poor lighting, 'wire-exposed' hair dryer, the 'can't be opened' door to the balcony, the so-called 'Genie voice' smart device, etc. all did not function properly. Obviously, the hotel does not have any maintenance. Unfortunately, it does not live up to its brandname and to our expectations. Really scared us off and will definitely not choose this hotel again on our next visit.

Check in was quick, but there was a foul smell as soon as step into the corridor. The foul smell permeates even into my room. Complain and my room was switched. Informed by the cleaner that the smell originates fr the next room. Something happened there. Nevertheless saw the cleaner furiously cleaning up the area. Room service was fast , clean n efficient.

Got an upgraded room. Instead of the additional balcony we have an extra room space. Check in took half an hour. The facilities were like before. No smoke smell. There was a Starbucks vending machine at the lobby. We tried their dinner buffet. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Got a free upgrade to the signature room. Room was quite newly renovated and clean. Though it doesn't comes with a balcony, I very much prefer this room as it is more modern looking. Check-in was smooth and service was good. Will definitely return again.

I was told that the type of room with balcony I booked was fully occupied. they told me they will give me an upgraded room which downside is without balcony but better view at higher floor. Expectations was then set high till I went into the room which I not sure if this is really a better room. View wasn’t great and also bed was beside the wall and window.. Sound proof was not good as can hear the doors open from rooms nearby….
