I’ve stayed at another Lyf property - One North - previously, so I expected the tiny room and general level of amenities. This property is better located. However the rooms here are not only tiny but poorly designed, making it impossible to get around without stepping over a suitcase. What was worse, however, was the cleanliness and feel of the room. Lyf only cleans the room every few days, which is fine, but after the room was “cleaned”, I returned to find an obvious blood stain right at the top of the sheets, in a way that was impossible to miss. The sink didn’t drain properly, taking upwards of 10 min to empty. The light switches, if pressed in the wrong order, turn off all the power in the room for a couple of minutes before switching back on. The WiFi is unreliable. When I was checking out and shared my unhappiness with the room, showing the bloodstain to the front desk staff, she acted unsurprised, apologized half heartedly, and said goodbye. Disappointing overall.
