The hotel is near palawan beach & nice to stay. The king size bed is big & comfy. Just too pity the 4th floor sky pool was closed due to maintenance.

Nice escape short staycation at this hotel..love their food in restaurants we had our breakfast, hi tea and dinner at their restaurant.

Overall, the design of the interior furniture quite old and very unsafe for family with kids and elderly. The door safety could be better improved compared to other hotel. Our kid can easily open the lock as there is no second stopper. while for the bathing area, it is very slippery and there is NO shower head holder on the wall. I humbly suggest the managing staff should try to use the shower room to get the feel. The in and out of bathtub is a scary moment. Nevertheless, we like the breakfast and the breakfast areas quite well organised. Thanks~

The hotel is just amazing. Location is okay, 5min walk from Imbiah sentosa station. Loved the nature vibe where you can see peacocks and parrots. The hotel speaks for itself, sanctuary.

Thank you very much for surprising us with a cake for our daughter's advance birthday celebration during our stay. Shuttle bus helps smooth our return journey back after staycation. Warm welcome and care showered by front desk, concierge, security and housekeeping throughout. Our kiddos look forward to plan next staycation soon.

The overall stay experience at the Amara resort was quite nice and enjoyable. We really had a great time and I highly recommend this place for a staycation. The breakfast buffet arrangements/services could be improved as the cafe was quite packed by the time we went for breakfast at 9:30am. We had to find a corner table in the outdoor sitting area and some of the finished food items were not replenished for a while. Otherwise, everything was excellent about the stay.

The service was great, we enjoyed our breakfast at the sanctuary cafe for the 2 mornings we were at the hotel. Waitress MJ and the floor manager (an Indian gentleman whose name I didn’t catch) were extremely professional and welcoming and we think the best part of our hotel stay. The spread was decent, and there were slight differences in what was available for the buffet on the two mornings we visited. Hotel wise staff were friendly, lifts were easily available no long wait times. Close to imbiah station and a short walk to the beach area. The room was clean, the Aircon was powerful, and the complimentary mini bar with coke sprite and bottled water, as well as kitkat and Oreo’s were a pleasant surprise. The room was also very spacious with a huge bath room. The carpet was very clean that sometimes we forgot to wear our room slippers. 5/5 for the cleaning crew! Things that could do better was that the Facilities and room were really worn out the laminate was peeling, and there was no where for us to hang up our wet swim wear and towels. Considering that the hotel promotes eco practices like reusing our towels, it would be nice to have more than the two hooks to hang up wet fabrics to dry. A quick fix would be to install a simple laundry line over the tub..just our suggestion. What bothered us the most was the noise. while the bed was very firm and comfortable and we enjoyed the clean room….the sound insulation ensured that we did not get any sleep in the two nights we were there. We could hear the neighbor’s conversation (imagine a women’s voice laughing beside you in the middle of the night), slamming doors, and water rattling through the pipes every time someone took a shower or flushed the toilet. I could even hear stuff drop on the floor as if it’s in our room . Also the sink faucet turned on by itself to the surprise of my son who happened to be sitting on the toilet. Interesting , tho we think it’s just the poor plumbing rather than something supernatural 😂. generally it was a pleasant stay if not for the noise.

Hotel is clean. Check-in and Check-out were quick. Everything in the room is ok except TV which keep asking for some password and cannot connect USB. Breakfast spread is just normal. Overall had a pleasant stay.

The complimentary mini bar , snacks and mosquito repellant provided were lovely , the area is so clean and breakfast was splendid as well . The place is beautiful

Some Receptionist are not friendly. Some defects in the room. Sockets are loosen and out. Overall is great stay

Booked this place for Christmas as well as celebrating friends birthday but sadly the aircon of the room is not working and is not as cold as wanted it to be. But other than that everything is okay just the aircon.

This is far by the most overrated hotel!!!!! It’s 5 starts but the service is just a nightmare….. Let me start by the checking in, only 2 to 3 staff which take turns to take drive the buggy. The swimming pool Jacuzzi was spoil, no in room dining after 10pm. Breakfast poor selection and I had to wait 30 mins for half boil eggs ..which when arrived was raw. Super bad experience…
