room is huge but old, time to renovate. location is alright with lots of fnb around. however im pretty sure i wont be back in the near future, not until at least the hotel do a uplift.

Location is quite convenient, very near to MRT station (Tanjong Pagar). There are many eateries surrounding the hotel. Next to the hotel, there is a small shopping mall (100AM), there is supermarket, bakery, restaurants. Room size is big, bed size also very big. There’s bathtub in the bathroom. TV channels ok. The room a bit old and too dim light. Aircon is very cold, even after we off the aircon, it still feel cold. We booked a room for staycation during New Year’s Eve, as it’s walkable to MBS area, so we can walk back from MBS after the countdown party.

The stay was great, the staff was very friendly but currently the hotel is under some renovation works which sometime you will get to hear some knocking and drilling sound in the room and also the level which I stay comes with a 5 steps staircase from the lift lobby to room which cause some inconvenience to carry a big luggage.

Apart from the old decor and dated room furnishings, the location and food were good. Staff were helpful respectful and responsive. Ridzuan and his colleagues including the bellhop were great and proactive! Thanks

Hotel is under renovation with day time noises. Interior is rather less maintained with wooden floor that’s worn out. Overall the location is good and Jigger & Pony right at the lobby. Probably not the hotel i would come back until they finished renovation.

Probably due to the ongoing renovation, there is only two check-in counter. Service was good though. Was given a relatively high floor and the room was spacious and clean. Downside will be the TV is in need of an upgrade as it is rather small and displaying quite poor quality image. Not sure why but there is also no HBO - quite limited cable channels. Nonetheless will still return again given the price is right.

Jeffery Goh and Raymond were extremely helpful and friendly when assisting us on our big event. They even went beyond expectations to ensure smooth sailing check-in of our rooms. It was really amazing having them.

Location is good! Mall is beside it walk within minutes! But the hotel need a upgrade especially the TV was so bad and small. Connection is really bad refer to the photo attached. Lucky the staff at reception is good enough to offer free ballon to my children and give me a connecting room ! Hotel keeping need to be better because the tissue paper and hand soap are not provided so have to call them to get it.

My 4th staycation at Amara Hotel and I stayed in a deluxe room this time. The room is big and spacious except that it is a little dim, especially at night but the washroom is brightly lit and is also spacious and comfortable with a bath tub to relax and soak in. The pool is lovely and very relaxing. Very good idea to have nice soft piped music along the corridor at night. Buffet breakfast served at the ground level restaurant includes a variety of delicious food. Miss Judy at the reception was nice and friendly and she extended my check out by an hour. Location is great with 100AM mall next to it and the MRT station within walking distance. A great place to stay and relax!

It was a stay for my birthday :) The staff told me she upgraded the room to a higher floor and would send a slice of cake, but we had to wait for a while as the staff were having their dinner. We waited for 30minutes and had to go out so we went to Reception and told them to just leave the cake in our room and also requested for extra toiletries. A different staff told us they would have to put the cake in the fridge or ants would come. We thought that was strange as why would ants come so soon unless there was already an ant nest existing in the hotel. Anyway we went out. When we returned almost close to midnight, there were the extra toiletries that we requested but no sight of the cake in the fridge or anywhere else. I guess this shows how sincere they were in giving me the cake for my birthday. So no nice supper snack to look forward to and we went to the nearby supermarket to get some snacks. Next day we went to check out the pool and I returned to the room first, but my card did not work. I went back to the swimming pool (level 3 i think) to get my roommate’s card and then back to the room, but his card did not work as well. So I went to the reception, and the staff did something to the card and handed back to me, and again I went up to Level 14 but it did not work! So I had to return to Level 1 reception again and there was a queue! I went to seek help at the Express checkout counter but the Uncle there pointed me back to the queue. Why couldn’t he help? By this time I was getting frustrated because I had a meeting and the laptop was in the room. Don’t understand what’s wrong with the hotel cards? Also, my booking included breakfast but the hotel staff did not mention anything about it to me upon check in. Luckily I brought it up and she told me that sometimes it does not match so we have to take note. So please take note. Other than the disappointment about the cake and the card inconvenience, I enjoyed the bathtub, the good service of the breakfast staff who cooked my eggs, and the late checkout at 1pm.

I feel compelled to bring to your attention some concerns regarding the service provided by one of your male staff at the front desk. Regrettably, I found this individual's conduct to be questionable. He exaggerated and provides misleading information of the hotel. Additionally, he made bad comments about a competitor and deliberately distorted the actual conditions of the hotel room, which contradicted his earlier statements. Fortunately, upon my request, the room was changed. However, I was disappointed by the lack of a more professional response when I encountered the staff member at the reception later. Unfortunately, he left without addressing the issue, which I believe reflects poorly on the hotel's image. Such behaviour is disheartening and does not align with the level of professionalism one would expect. I hope the management will take appropriate measures to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar situations. Thank you for your attention to this concern.
