The hotel is small but clean. The staff are polite and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to eateries and Toa Payoh Town Central.

All good, very well accomodating in terms of near the public transport, if you want an ease of travel you can book this hotel

The hotel is very easy to locate. Plus plus points with how clean it was when we arrived. Though the room was just right for sleeping and taking a bath, important thing it is very clean. Near bus stops and food stalls 😍 near attractions too.

My 3rd time here.. I think we’ve gotten the exact same room as my 1st time! However the rates were much higher now.. The wooden toilet door couldn’t close due to the expansion of the wood as the shower was just next to it! The toilet’s ventilation exhaust fan was rather noisy too! Sighhh..

This hotel truly exceeded all my expectations. Check-In/Out: The check-in process was swift and welcoming. The front desk staff greeted me with warm smiles (Jassica and Kai) and made sure all my needs were met efficiently. The checkout process was equally smooth, making my departure just as pleasant as my arrival. After checkout I forgot my phone at hotel room, they immediately connected me, I was at air port then, gone back and took phone come back. I must thank for this quick information from hotel (especially Mr. Kei) thank you. Room Quality: My room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. It was immaculately clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality linens that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The attention to detail in the room’s design, from the plush furnishings to the elegant lighting, was impressive. Amenities: The hotel’s amenities were top-notch. On the right hand side you see Dominos which gives great Pizza (Especially great Veg Pizza). Shopping Center is at walkable distance. Service: The level of service throughout my stay was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered, from housekeeping to concierge, was friendly, professional, and eager to assist. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Location: The Grandview Hotel’s location is ideal, situated close to key attractions and dining options. Whether I wanted to explore the local sights or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area, everything was conveniently within reach. Overall Experience: My stay at Fragrance Hotel - Oasis was nothing short of perfect. The combination of luxurious accommodations, outstanding service, and excellent amenities made it a standout choice. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a premium experience and a home-away-from-home ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit!

It was last minute booking due to visa issue. Room was smaller than photo and toilet and shower is basically same spot. 10-15min walk to MRT.

Strategic location at Novena and everything is clean, coupled with great and friendly services. They will help you, so just try this hotel again.

In anticipation of our arrival, we had reached out to the hotel 1-2 days prior, requesting the possibility of an early check-in. This was based on the premise that should a room be available, we could conveniently settle in before the standard check-in time. The hotel's response, though non-committal, acknowledged our request, advising us to confirm the possibility upon our arrival. This interaction, although not promising, was appreciated for its clarity and professional handling of our request. Upon our arrival in Singapore, we were met with a situation that seemed hopeful at first. The specific room we had booked showed availability for early check-in, bolstering our optimism. However, our hopes were quickly dashed when the request was outright denied, not even allowing for a compromise of an hour earlier than scheduled. This strict adherence to check-in times, despite apparent room availability, was a first in my travel experiences. The option to leave our luggage at the front desk, though a small consolation, was offered with a disclaimer of risk, which did little to alleviate our initial frustration. Transportation options near the hotel were a mix of convenience and limitation. The proximity of bus services facilitated our daily excursions, offering a seamless connection to the broader cityscape. The absence of a nearby metro station, however, was felt, particularly in moments when the ease of metro travel would have been preferred. This minor inconvenience was factored into our travel plans, and though not ideal, it was manageable within the context of our stay. The interaction with the hotel staff varied greatly, painting a complex picture of customer service. Of the several receptionists we encountered, three provided commendable service, marked by professionalism and a willingness to assist. Their efforts added a layer of comfort to our stay, partially offsetting earlier grievances. The initial receptionist we dealt with, however, left much to be desired. Her demeanor was off-putting, marked by a brusqueness and an apparent annoyance at our arrival. This interaction, unfortunate as it was, framed our first impression of the hotel's hospitality, setting a tone that subsequent interactions worked hard to rectify. In summary, our stay at this budget hotel in Singapore was a journey through a spectrum of experiences. From the constraints of physical space to the fluctuations in customer service quality, each aspect contributed to a nuanced overall impression. While not without its drawbacks, the stay offered valuable lessons in managing expectations and finding appreciation in the smaller gestures of hospitality that shone through the less favorable moments.
