Dear M Hotel, I would like to express my feeling of satisfaction/gratitude toward Miss Jia Yi and the manager in resolving the issue I had over the stay quickly. My relative who works in F&B recommended the hotel for our stay in Singapore which we decided to follow through for 4days 3 nights. But perhaps due to a misunderstanding/misinformation during the checking in, we were not informed much about how to use room’s facilities e.g., a room make-up function, a policy regarding bed sheet and towels + the TV remote control was out of battery. I didn’t realize up until my parents informed me about it. I was upset and went to express my dissatisfaction to the reception while Miss Jia Yi was on her shift. She handled my complaint professionally, quickly noted down the issues and asked the maids to make up our rooms everyday onward. Without the explanation, the room-make up function is a little hard to use (I previously assumed the maid would come in normally). Anyway, I want to compliment the staff for their professionalism, not just in resolving our in-room situation but also for handing my negative emotion perfectly. With that being said, our stay at M Hotel was overall good and we wouldn’t mind coming back again. The location is perfect near the China town, MBS and not too far from Orchard Road. The hotel functions like a business hotel. Lack of warm hospitality that I witness in some other hotel chain. I was lost in the room as there were no communication as to what number to dial for conceirge. Only a number for housekeeping and they had to forward the call for me. When asked for late checkout, the answer was an unapologetic No. I guess the hotel has great business. And the bath was choked but they got it fixed. Plumber was fast and friendly but of course, it was still precious time wasted waiting for the bath to be fixed.

We had a great time staying at the Dao by Dorsett AMTD Singapore during Christmas this year. We were warmly welcome by the staff during checkin. The staff was very friendly and even gave my baby a teddy bear as a welcoming gift. We stayed at the two bedrooms suite which was perfect for our family. We could prepare food for the baby in the kitchen and enjoyed dinner at the dinning room altogether. The location of the hotel is really convenience. It’s walkable distance to the infamous maxwell food center, the Chinatown and MRT station. The pick up spot for grab just right downstairs. We highly recommended this hotel. The buffet in the morning was really good. We stayed for 4 nights and the food were different almost everyday.

Stayed for 2 nights in room 1512 (15th floor) as a solo traveller for staycation during the Deepavali weekend. The room is very clean with absolute comfort. Awesome city view. Mini-fridge, in-room safe deposit box, bathrobes and in-room slippers are provided. Bath amenities smelled great and do dine at the 1st floor Marmalade Pantry for their awesome food! Tanjong Pagar MRT station is just opposite the hotel.

Location : near to tanjong Pagar, green line mrt. Just two min walk. Very peaceful and quiet. Near to a beautiful park. Nearby area is Chinatown, lots of Chinese and Japanese food restaurants around this hotel. Room : Deluxe room is spacious, clean, with all required amenities. There is hairdryer, mini fridge, hot water jug, enough space to put your luggage. However, there is no microwave/oven. Staff : Some staff is good but I sense that an attitude of hospitality is missing overall. I am saying this because : 1. I was not given early check in even after request. I requested that if possible please accommodate. The lady either ignored or forgot my request and gave me check in just half an hour before 2.00 pm. 2. Breakfast time is 6.30 to 10.00. On next day, I woke up on 10.05,I immediately called restaurant that due to jet lag, I could not wake up and I very new to find out options outside hotel. So pls allow me to come have a small limited breakfast. She plainly said no, kitchen is closed 3. On the day of check out, I requested 2 hours extension as I was having fever, I received plain No. I am a very frequent traveller and I have had very very pleasant experiences from hotels lesser than 4 star. I couldn't simply fathom the lack of sympathy from the staff. 4. I dropped a medicine for my colleague staying in same hotel at reception because she was sick like me and she was more in need of it. The reception didn't bother to deliver it to her. Upon asking, reception said, there is not enough staff. One more observation is that very very limited option of cooked food for vegetarians in breakfast. Samosa / spring roll, bread that's it. While very good spread for non vegetarian. It should be considered that my stay was for 7 nights.

I feel compelled to bring to your attention some concerns regarding the service provided by one of your male staff at the front desk. Regrettably, I found this individual's conduct to be questionable. He exaggerated and provides misleading information of the hotel. Additionally, he made bad comments about a competitor and deliberately distorted the actual conditions of the hotel room, which contradicted his earlier statements. Fortunately, upon my request, the room was changed. However, I was disappointed by the lack of a more professional response when I encountered the staff member at the reception later. Unfortunately, he left without addressing the issue, which I believe reflects poorly on the hotel's image. Such behaviour is disheartening and does not align with the level of professionalism one would expect. I hope the management will take appropriate measures to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar situations. Thank you for your attention to this concern.

Positives: - Lovely room decor and room layout - Even though my room faces the pool, still get sea views. So, lovely views - Smooth bed linens - Media panel - bedside wireless charger, clock, Bluetooth speaker - spacious toilet with separate shower and toilet cubicle - impressive standalone Kaldewei bathtub - Super comfortable bath robes - Impressive range of channels on tv Negatives - Bed and pillows a tad too soft for my liking - 43 inch tv could be bigger - no Chromecast - no electronic curtains - lack of bedside usb charging option - lifts do not have direct access to ground floor. Need to change lifts at 32nd floor lobby. May be troublesome for some

Great experience in this hotel, which they deliver an excellent services from lobby to restaurant to club floor and room services. As this is my anniversary trip with my wife, hotel give us a surprise for a room upgrade and small gifts for our celebration. Thumb up !! Although there have a small noise issue of renovating something around the room floor, when we called to them, they solved this problem quickly and also at night time they sent us some compliment for us for apologies. Great view from the hotel room and Great location for this hotel, it is convenient to go everywhere with short time. We will come back next time for the hotel for sure Great work!

An almost perfect stay. Check in was very easy and fuss free. The bath’s fantastic, amenities - luxurious. Asked for a quiet room - I got a quiet room on a quiet floor. Food selection however at the club lounge was not fantastic, it was in fact far below expectations - definitely not as great as pre-pandemic times. Not recommended for anyone to opt for club room benefits. Tables at the club lounge were not the cleanest either. But the breakfast buffet spread was awesome and delicious, tables there were much cleaner. Overall, it was a luxurious, quiet, rejuvenating stay.

The room & toilet is very clean. The hostel is well organize and provided very local breakfast during the stay. The hostel location is great. Nearby 2 MRT stations and there are plenty of local food at the surrounding area. I like the building itself which is a renovated hostel in an old building. Recommend travelers to stay here if you do wants to enjoy solo trip.
