The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our retreat most enjoyable. We were very impressed by the responsiveness of you and your staff from the planing stage till the end of our retreat. What is most commendable is that numerous request were all but acceded.

The dirt was taken by your wanted Spey Inn 14 - a complete dirt! Nothing is cleaned, in the toilet and soul everywhere dirty, rolling toothpaste, shampoo and blade for shaving past residents. In the rooms on the boxes on the window behind the cabinets of a bunch of dirty clothes of past tenants. the storage boxes are all closed and it is unclear which are occupied and which are not. We set in the fourth, but the box open found only one! Everywhere dirt! In two days of arrival, not once cleaned and not soaped floors! You - 1! Filmed your wanted Space Inn 14 - solid rubbish! Nothing is cleaned, the toilet and shower are dirty everywhere, toothpaste, shampoos and shaving blades of past tenants are lying around. The rooms are all closed, and it is not clear which are occupied and which are not. We settled in the fourth, but only one open box was found! Dirt everywhere! For two days of stay, they never cleaned or washed the floors! You -1!

About what you can expect for the price. The WIFI was bad the first couple of nights, then afterwards, it starting working pretty good. The aircon was good, the toilet flushed, and the shower had hot water. That's all I need to be comfortable. My only major complaint is with the alarm system. It is obviously very old, because it went off sporadically, which disturbed my sleep. They need to install a new alarm system. Overall, I'd say it's okay if you want to have more money to splurge on sightseeing and shopping. However, your stay will be just a notch above camping. And there is no housekeeping.

This accommodation is not for the faint hearted, or those who are likely to feel sick at the sight of a mouldy bathroom, damaged floor tiles and a bath with grime and peeling ceiling paint throughout etc. The pictures on the hotel website are in no way a reflection of it's current state of disrepair and neglect and issues with cleanliness and security in regard to broken window locks, makes for an uneasy rest, particularly at night. The double bed is too close to the main door, making it difficult to get in and out either with or without luggage. The hotel has a rickety old lift that shudders as if it is near on breaking down. An electric kettle, three complimentary bottles of water are all that comes with the room, a part from linen, towels and disposable toiletries. Not coffee or tea is provided. The room was also not serviced by cleaners or towels replaced during my three days stay. While there is a TV and an airconditioner, however, no mini fridge is provided, so be prepared to go down to the carpark area and pay for a cold soft drink from a vending machine. The other machine has a variety of 2 minute noodles. The reception is open 24/7 with frequent staff changeover so some friendly and a few not so much. I was not aware at the time of the booking that the K hotel 12 is situated on the edge of what is locally known as 'Sin City' or redlight district, Geylang, of Singapore. In the evenings, after 9pm, the streets in Geylang become noisey from cars honking, people loitering and talking loudly most of the night, you can overhear bargaining and dealing with minders outside the illegal and legal *******s, so if you're a very light sleeper, my advice is to have earplugs with you during your stay. There is a small mini-mart nearby and cafe's for provisions and quick dining, but I would try and get what you need before evening, to avoid ******* minders in the streets trying to get business from you and to meet the ladies inside the homes and hotels. There are many rent by the hour hotels and every even numbered street has a string of *******s in them. In my opinion, I would only recommend this hotel for the budget conscious traveller, if you are single or travelling with other singles, but not suitable for families with children. Despite it's sleazy reputation, Geylang has some great eateries and street food and relatively close to the Suntec City Convention Centre. Yellow and Blue taxi costs ($8 - $15) was minimal to and from the city areas (7-10 minutes drive) and MRT is about 600-800 mtrs from the hotel.

Receptionist was kind enough to let me check in an hour earlier. He explained all the facilities throughly and expedited my check in and check out smoothly. The room has pretty much everything you would need in a hotel. To sum it up, this is definitely worth its price.
