The hotel „The Sultan“ in Sultan street is a beautiful heritage building. The staff is very helpful, our rooms was spacious, clean and nicely furnished and the content of the minibar is included. Only the bathroom is a bit too small. Still it is a good place in the Arab part of Singapore and in walking distance to Little India. There is a fine Hawker Centre (The Golden Mile) round the corner in 5 minutes walking distance

Value for money especially after a surge in rental and hotel prices in Singapore. Room had windows but couldn't open it and there is no sunlight at all. Counter service was quite good, room sandals available upon request.

I am loving this hotel!! One of the best hotel I have ever booked in Trip for my staycation. This hotel is clean, the decoration was really neat and up to my expectation. Not forgetting the Jacuzzi!!! I swear that was the hardest part to leave the hotel room. Thank you so much!! Highly recommended and I am booking this again for sure! It’s near to the Sultan Mosque, Arab street where you can find halal food and bakeries!!! Surely a tourist attraction. Even convenient for Singaporean like myself 🥰

around 10mins walking from Bugis Mrt and around half hour by mrt from Airport to Bugis Mrt. Hotel is at a double storey shoplots. Many eating places around. Room is small but modern type. Bathroom is clean. Smart Tv but no tv channels, you need use app inside to search and watch the programs. have free wifi, but sometimes not stable, and make the tv disconnected too. Housekeeping provided with amenities too. ground floor too can heard noise from corridor and from street beside. not all room with window, you need to see clearly room type before you booked. staff is friendly.

We arrived at 2 pm and they allowed us to early check in. The location quiet close to Bendemeer MRT station (10min walk), and bus station. The room is clean, but very very very small, for 2 person, we hardly find a space to do prayer. There was a curtain but actually its just a wall behind and no window.

Wife and I decided spontaneously to do an overnight stay here. We had seen the outer and inner decor at the lobby of Kam Leng Hotel before and were intrigued by the character and heritage the hotel had (hence the 2 stars due to the potential) When we checked in, process was smooth. Upon entering the room, we realised a small but new Xiaomi TV and a spacious toilet. However, the room was extremely musty and dusty (like the kind of dust that hadnt been cleaned for months and years). We were unable to sleep throughout the night and checked out early as we kept feeling itchy, aircon kept turning cold and warm and the mustiness remained. Reading some reports, we also understood that the hotel had been used for some illegal businesses before. To conclude, you do get basic amenities and lodging for the price you pay, which is reasonable. As a couple or person looking for a comfortable night's stay then maybe not. A hotel full of potential but not well maintained at all. What a waste.

great place to stay as it is conveniently located right beside an MRT station. There's a convenient store and money exchange right outside the hotel as well. staff are very accomodating. the rooms are smaller than i expected but it was fine.

Waited 1 hour for check in but great service by Sam and Shahirah (hope I got her name correct) at the counter made up for the experience. They gave us a free upgrade to triple deluxe room with connecting twin room. As it was National Day, each room booked was given a goodie bag with nostalgic treats and games. The rooms are newly-renovated and spacious. The rooms overlooks the swimming pool but we had to make our way through ground level to the next tower to swim. The pool is quite small but good enough for the kids to have fun. The hotel location is great with shopping malls, fire station museum, and children museum just stone throw away. Merlion Park, Esplanade, Suntec, Marina Square, and City Hall MRT are within walking distance. The room rates are much reasonable compared with the other hotels around it based on the room size and location. Would be even better if there is bath tub in the room. Overall, my kids and parents in law enjoyed this staycation very much.

As per record, we have booked a connected room with River View for 1 double bed & 2 single beds for 3 nights. Upon arrival at the checked in counter, the staff by the name of Maria straight away offered us an upgrade of the connected room for the 2nd & 3rd night at the upper floor with a better view. But 1st night we have to stay at lower flr in a big room with 1 double bed & 2 single bed. We said OK and she checked us into Room 206. When we got to the room, we rest for a bit before we really check out the room. But my son was complaining about the room. Being the room are like an extended room for the room flr are build by wood and noisy when u walk. No centralised aircond but a split unit aircon which is not cold. Mattress are hard as if it's already more than 10years old. This room gave us a feeling as if we are some illegal immigrant. We went back to Trip.com to check the review and we found few customers are having the same experience. I've screenshot 1 of them and attached as photo. We went down to complaint & demanded change room to the room we booked in advance. And it's not our problem that they over sold their rooms & neglected customers who booked & pay in advance. Till the end, we get the room we booked but Maria claimed its VIP room which this room fits the description of the room we book. On the day we chevked out, Maria was on duty. Very bad attitude. No eye contact, no greetings, no thank you. She don't deserve to be assigned at the front desk.

the location is so good, walking distance to many places esp for supper. a little surprised at how small the room is but overall a clean and comfy stay! would love to come back again. major love for the gym which is open 24/7, and really cute complimentary birthday treats. no complimentary parking though. but we managed to get a generous late checkout, overall a pleasant stay☺️
