It’s okay, it’s convenient to travel around

The hotel's surroundings are average, with many unusual-looking people on the street, but the location is very good, right next to the train station, and it's very convenient to catch a train. It only takes about three minutes to walk.

The room is large, has a bathtub, and is very cost-effective. Some service staff have poor English, but it does not affect communication. The disadvantage is that the surrounding environment is relatively poor. Although there are police patrols nearby, you can still see gangsters gathering together (especially at night), and some people will whistle at you. It is better for women to find hotels in the city center.

first There is no dedicated parking lot, so an additional parking fee of 18 euros is charged. There is a crime-ridden area nearby, so the atmosphere is bad and the lighting in the room is so dark that you can't do anything in the room. And overall, it was very cold as if there was no heating. I recommend it

RUN AWAY!!! This hotel is dangerous for your health. I had itching all night and when I told the receptionist about it, he pretended that it was the first time that this problem had been brought to his attention. The beds are infested with bedbugs and the hotel is way too expensive for the service provided. Very poor quality! RUN AWAY!!!!!!

I am currently at the Europa Hotel. First of all we discovered a horrible neighborhood. A large room but with NOTHING in it and a bathtub without a stopper. So we asked for a cap so we could take a bath. We were told: No, it is not possible and in any case the bathtub is not charged extra. I don't even understand this answer, when we chose the hotel the bathtub was in fact a criterion. In addition we asked for our sheets to be changed. It wasn't done. So we come back from our day and go to reception to ask for sheets. The only receptionist tells me that this is not possible. I ask him to contact a manager and go back to my room. So he calls us back on the room phone and explains to me that it's also impossible. So I start to get angry and tell him that I have never seen a hotel without sheets and that I am not asking for them to be changed, simply for them to bring some back to us and that I will change them myself. He tells me again that this is not possible and that I can see a manager tomorrow morning. I reply and he says “Shut up” and hangs up. My boyfriend comes down angry and asks to see a manager and has the service we are paying for carried out. He raises a finger at the receptionist who slaps his hand and says it won't happen. We took the name of the receptionist, do not intend to leave it there, and are still waiting for our sheets. Avoid this hotel like the plague.

The only reason it deserves a star is because the staff was helpful when you asked them something and the rooms are incredibly spacious, other than that, avoid at all cost. Broken aircon, broken tiles in the bathroom that stick to your feet, horrible beds, only 2 small lights in the whole room worked, I could see the sewage from the toilet above me, ... On top of that, it's location moght appear safe at first being right next to the police station, but they deal ***** right in front of it. It's a smelly neighborhood, I've seen someone sh*t against a wall 50m from the hotel, ... Brussels is a horrible place to begin with but this made my opinion even worse. The rooms where adequately cleaned, but the staff can only do ao much with a completely worn out place. The 'hair dryer' they advertise with is a hand dryer as seen in public toilets, nothing useable. My colleague couldn't even get in his toilet at first as the lock was broken. Another weird things was that on the 3rd day, I suddenly had a 3rd bed in my room, most likely preparation for the next week, but a very odd feeling to experience, as if they invaded my privacy. Should've taken pictures, but only have 2 videos I sent to the office.

The hotel had no airconditioning that was clear on arrival only. Temperature in the room in excess of 30 Deg C. Fan provided cannot cool and (by doctors guidance) SHOULD NOT be used at this inside temperatures as it heats not cools the body. I almost had a heat stroke with red skin, stopped swetting while drinking a lot (signs of the heat stroke), so packed up and sat in the foyer where I slowly recovered and started to sweat (so get over this a bit). Next morning I checked out, but no refund was made, and the staff REFUSED to write on the booking papers that aircon was not working. They said it is mentioned on the web. As I did not find any note of absent aircon on the web, they say "it does not say we HAVE aircon". Then when I found the websites that say the Hotel has aircons, they said "we do not know these sites". On the top, the hotel is quite running down, half of electrical sockets was falling out, the cupboards can see the fridge taken out, just awful I ever stayed in.
