Sioux City

It's a great location but a dirty place. It's run down. Mold on ceiling. Broken walls and chipped paint. Staff is dressed unprofessional and aren't that inviting. It definitely needs cleaned up. Hope it changes.

I checked in around 7:30p and checked out shortly thereafter on the same night. HOWEVER, to the front desk staff's credit after I cancelled my reservation online just a little while after checking in and walking down to the front with my stuff, the person working the front desk assured me it would be a full refund. I understand smoking is allowed at the hotel, but when I walk in to a non-smoking room and it smells like someone just lit and hammered down a cigarette right before I walked in, not the greatest. The bed spread featured several burn holes and a couple of unidentifiable stains. The AC unit looked like someone had tried to get into it. When walking to my room a guest informed me that I should not leave anything in my room if I was going to be leaving for the day, presumably because either a guest or member of the staff would have sticky fingers. Took a flyer on this place even after seeing the reviews because I figured it couldn't be THAT bad, in fact it was .

Outdated and run down, found a loaded syringe between the mattress. The desk clerk was great and switched me rooms, the second room didn’t have a remote, checked with several locals and was told that’s the worst hotel in the city, bunch of transient’s living there

There is not enough space in this review to comment how unsanitary our room was. Spots on mattress and sheets, red substance splattered on ceiling, streaked walls, holes in curtains, sink would not drain, gap in exterior door to hallway, bathroom door would not shut, hairdryer falling off the wall...I could go on. We would have checked out immediately, however, we did not feel safe to go back into the hallway again.

This place is past run down. There were windows that were boarded up. Very dirty. Broken glass was in the hallway. The health department needs to get involved! it was very filthy! I had one look inside the room and asked for full refund, as a policeman showed up. I felt very unsafe!!!!

We were driving cross-country and the front desk clerk on the phone said it was clean and in good section of town. It was not. It was like a downtown drug neighborhood hotel. The bed was visibly sagging in the middle. The bathroom sink plugged up and the toilet wouldn’t flush. The entire tub was patched with caulking. The light switches were gross. Across the hall was an ice machine leaking and black mold growing up the wall. We slept in our clothes and didn’t touch anything because we were so disgusted. We only stayed because we were exhausted from driving all day and didn’t know where we might find a room I called the corporate HQ the next morning to lodge a complaint and she said she was sorry, that they had no control over how local management cares for properties. I tried to explain the value of brand recognition for the company. She didn’t get it. I asked to speak to a supervisor. As the call was being transferred, I heard the supervisor’s comment: “You can put her threw but I’m only going to tell her what you did. Apparently Ramada inn doesn’t care about its brand anymore.
