First night I killed a big cockroach in the bathroom which had a busted lock on the door. The towels were stained, the fan didn’t work, the prices for the room changed arbitrarily during the week, they only booked me for 3 days instead of the four I requested online, so I had to wait til checkout day for some reason to extend my stay, this is a place I would’ve paid maybe $30 for in the 90’s but for some reason these same dumps are almost $100 a night now?! Speaking of dumps, the hallways smelled like farts all week. ***. Never Again.

Total disaster. The room shouldn’t even have been advertised as available. Clerk said keycard wouldn’t work in the lock so he had to let us in but that we could lock it from the inside. Outright lie as deadbolt non functional and door couldn’t even be closed all the way. Totally unsafe. Shame on EconoLodge for even advertising this room. Halls were dirty, full of people hanging around, even a guy lying on a couch out in the hall. Avoid like the plague.

The mirror in our room fell down during our stay (didn't break, was caught by us), in which we found it was covering a hole in the wall. There were no towels in the pool area, hot tub wasn't hot - was warm. Besides that it was a good stay. Room was clean, bed was comfy. We stay here every time we are in Sioux Falls so will be back, the above are just minor things.

Very noticeable blood spots on the sheets and at least 7 cigarette burns in the comforter. Staff is very nice but I am deaf and unable to ask for help easily.

The room was really nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was really good. the only thing that was wrong was the stairs to get to the room. At 81, it was difficult taking all our bags up those stairs. My husband had a very hard time going up the stairs, and could not help me with the bags.

The people there are really caring people! They let me keep extending my stay for the same original price because they knew that my husband was in the hospital with heart failure, small stroke, kidney failure and infection in his bones which led to the amputation of his leg! The room wasn't spectacular but the beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was awesome! I will definitely be staying there again!
