Disinterested waiters at breakfast . Apparently breakfast with eggs and, for example, cappuccino is not offered to everyone. We had to do what was on the buffet. Otherwise great hotel!

Valid solution for short stops

It is ia rather outdated hotel that requires a lot of maintenance, especially the floors and the bathrooms. The breakfast is moderate, with good Coffee, missing the integral products, and good eatbable fruits. The elevator was behaving a bit strange, passed our floor a few times up and down before it stopped. The airco stops working between 12pm and 6 am so the nights can be warm. The airco is very noisy. We heard from other guests that the rooms at the front side of the hotel can be very noisy due to traffic, also at nights. Personel is very friendly

terrible hotel. Everything is run down and old. the worst part is the AC doesnt work. I can overlook everything else but I can't sleep in this heat without AC. Terrible experience here. I wish my tour group just drove straight to Catania/taormina and skipped this hotel

I have never stayed in such a bad hotel before in Italy as this hotel. The hotel is advertised as 4 stars, but in reality it is 4 crosses. Everything is bad, really everything. The worst part is the indifferent arrogance of the staff in the way they handle the problem. The furniture and the seating set are all ruined and dirty. The bathroom is broken, dirty and incomplete. No charging after breakfast after 8:50. If you talk about the problem, arrogant, condescending yelling staff is the discussion partner. There is no possibility of compensation, the hotel steals the good feeling of your days if you live here. The bathroom is so moldy that your lungs will get sick if you live here.

We stayed during a TUI tour of Sicily and this was evidently chosen because it was very cheap. There was another TUI tour group staying on the same night, so it was clearly catering for this market. The Hotel - it was dated and the rooms were in a terrible state, with furniture broken, an unpleasant smell and the bathroom flooded with water after using the shower. The Staff - rude and unhelpful, in particular on reception. I note that they say English is a language that they cater for, but they refused to make any effort to communicate in it at all. The Food - awful, unless you think that a spoon of risotto, a mackerel fillet, spoon of iceburg lettuce and slice of watermelon makes an acceptable meal. That's the problem with an inclusive package i guess. Dreadful hotel to steer well clear of. I am surprised that TUI are using it - they must have a lot of negative feedback.

The hotel is easy to find and there is free parking. The room is quite clean. The breakfast cannot be considered as that of a 4 star hotel. Not much choice, however, the staff are very efficient: the gentleman at the reception is very helpful: he ordered us a taxi to go to Ortigia in the evening, the person at breakfast is very courteous

I don't even understand how the travel agency can offer this hotel. Or 4 stars? Two and more. Parquet hallway and room in poor condition, broken ceiling plates, paint in the bathroom is peeling , rust in the bathroom, the terrace, nets holding the structures. Only positive thing, welcoming staff.

My stay in the hotel was very pleasant, the staff were very kind and always available, the room was clean and comfortable, with daily towel change. I stayed in the hotel for both breakfast and dinner and I must say that it went well, obviously you have to consider being in a hotel and not in a restaurant

Given the opinions we read, we were prepared for the worst. Reality surpassed our fears. Good experience, very polite and attentive staff. Small room, as is the bathroom. Noisy when facing the window onto the hotel terrace. Clean. Normal dinner, but very well attended. Normal and correct breakfast. Circuit hotel, but can be recommended.

The quality of the Panorama hotel in Siracusa does not correspond to the contracted 4-star category. The state of conservation and cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Bathroom with rusty elements. The breakfasts and dinners have been disappointing, very basic.
