My friend and I were on holiday and she bought this travel via agence “lastminute”. From 22 till 29 September 2024 we occupied room 201 in this hotel "Albatros" in Syracusa. POSITIVE side: good bathroom, beds, air conditioning, and good friendly working staff, they changed towels and made the bed every day.THANK YOU... NEGATIVE side: there is a complete lack of objective and reliable information. 1-location of the hotel in the middle of a large field, where there are no shops, cafes or take away etc at all. 2-access to the hotel ONLY by car or taxi! That is, we didn’t have a driver's license and extra money for a taxi (£20 one way). We can't walk to the town center, because there are high-speed roads and along them there are no pedestrian sidewalks at all. (risk of accident). renting bicycles is not an option for those who have not used them for a long time. And we are 55+ that is, walking for more one hour in the heat is impossible. So we were forced stay in the hotel our entire holiday. Small swimming pool (for children, depth 1.30m) with cold clean water, all the exercise gim are working, but it was impossible to be in this area because attack of a lot of wasps, mosquitoes, flies. In our room there is no balcony and a place to dry towels, swimsuits, no microwave oven for cooking and no free coffee and miniral water. At first there were several bags of tea that were not brought after at all. In the hotel there was only breakfast (not have service to lunch and dinner). breakfast with a poor choice. There is nothing hot (porridge, omelet, beans, sausages, bacon) no vegetables. If you come to breakfast around 10 am (closing time) you might not even get a sandwich. The TV had only one music channel. We not found an English news channel. Wi-Fi doesn’t work around/ outside the hotel. It was too borring time and too muny problems in this hotel. Most photos of webside not true. In endid, they charged us a tourist tax of £20 yet. FOR WHAT? For get mostly stress and a ruined terrible holiday. I am upset of lost money, the price does not match the quality. I am surprised why the hotel has 4 stars. I won’t give my recommend to stay in this hotel for holiday, just for transit over night.

hotel scelto perché centrale per raggiungere posti vicini ma sono rimasta delusa , non rispecchia le foto. Piscina sporchissima piena di terra o non so cosa sul fondale , colazione qualità medio/bassa. Wc e bidè scomodissimi, occorreva uno sgabello per quanto fossero alti penzolavano i piedi… 😂 mah!!!

Abbiamo soggiornato qui con una coppia di amici . L'hotel molto curato e pulito personale gentile e disponibile. La signora Nella che ci serviva la colazione ci ha fatti sentire a casa con la sua cordialità e gentilezza. Hotel consigliatissimo

HOTEL pulito, ordinato ed accogliente. Ma il valore aggiunto di questa struttura sono le PERSONE! Dalla portineria alle colazioni, ai bagnini... Un senso dell'ospitalità unico che altrove non abbiamo mai trovato. Quindi grazie a: Franco, Giovanni, Isabella, Nella, Antonio e Francesco. Spero di non aver dimenticato nessuno. Grazie. ps i nostri figli erano tristi quando ce ne siamo andati. famiglia Riovanto-Gentilomo (Matteo Chiara Bianca e Giovanni). Splendida Neapolis parco archeologico di Siracusa (vedi foto)

Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera familiare, ovvero una matrimoniale con l'aggiunta di due letti singoli che hanno molto limitato lo spazio disponibile per muoversi e per i bagagli. Bagno ampio e in ottimo stato, probabilmente di recente ristrutturazione. Adeguate e ben arredate le zone comuni, tra cui la sala colazione e l'ampio spazio piscina, sempre in perfetto ordine e pulizia grazie alla continua opera del bagnino. Tutta la struttura spicca per pulizia e cura degli arredi e dell'immobile. Molto gentile e cordiale tutto il personale. Da segnalare, con dispiacere, l'inadeguatezza della colazione, non all'altezza della categoria dell'hotel. Vengono propose brioche surgelate cotte al momento, un paio di torte, uova solo sode, marmellatine confezionate e bibite al gusto arancia (pessime, nulla a che fare con i succhi). Molto buoni, invece, caffè/cappuccino che vengono preparati al momento su ordinazione. Una nota dolente che purtroppo non mi permette di dare il massimo dei voti

Ottima posizione per visitare Siracusa ,Noto e le spiagge vicine. Piscina e camere pulite. Il personale sempre disponibile e gentile. Unica pecca è la colazione un po’ triste, tutte cose commerciali….pensando poi di essere in una terra piena di sapori e’ un vero peccato!!!

Soggiorno splendido, per chi vuole visitare la parte orientale della Sicilia è il luogo ideale dove soggiornare... La piscina fa sempre comodo ed è tenuta benissimo ..grazie al bagnino Francesco per i consigli e come fa il suo lavoro. Torneremo sicuramente

La colazione non era un granché , la peggiore che abbia provato in Sicilia , le camere discrete ma nulla di che, le asciugano pessime , pulizia della stanza non molto buona , per un 4 stelle mi aspettavo molto di meglio, ci sono margini di miglioramento bisogna solo volerlo

Abbiamo passato una notte in questo hotel ed e’ stata una bellissima esperienza . I gestori gentilissimi , la struttura ben tenuta la camera pulita prezzo giusto, insomma tutto positivo. Siracusa si raggiunge in pochi minuti e c è un parcheggio pubblico dove lasciare la macchina . Abbiamo avuto solo il problema di trovarlo con il nostro gps . Consiglio questo hotel senza ombra di dubbio. L hotel ha il parcheggio privato gratuito .
